I've tried maybe three times but the mechanics just don't appeal to me.
Could never get fully invested in the Monster Hunter franchise. The premise is right up my alley, but the execution never lived up to my hopes.

Destiny exceeded my expectations in some ways, disappointed in others. The bottom line is, I'm truly enjoying playing this title. Some of the most fun I've had in an FPS in a while.
My understanding is that DESTINY is the 10 year plan, not Destiny 1-3 or something. This isn't that type of title and they've been pretty open about that. Expansions are the key here and we already know of two. That 500 million (half for advertising most likely) will go to expansions further down the line, unlocking more levels, classes, story missions, etc. They'll also be spending money consistently balancing the game and keeping daily events fresh.
