I dont know how they would make a full retail game out of Ice Climbers to be quite honest, although good to see yet another revamped old Nintendo franchise getting life.

i like the unlockable guns and mini games for finishing the normal mode that you get in hard mode.....alittle replay value never hurt anybody.
Now we need to hope it does well in sales. Publishers are watching this game more then any.

Haters should do more research before posting on Nintendo news is all im saying.
They dont follow Nintendo news then when a story like this comes around they kinda........miss the boat.
Rumor has it they are waiting to release their big guns for after the sd card solution hits....which is also rumored to be later this month.
You notice they havent released a NeoGeo or N64 game in like 4 months? the sd cad solution would mean more storage for those huge memory blocks.
We'll see at the end of this month what happens.

You guys do understand that Nintendo has always stated that the tech inside Motion + was to expensive of a feature to incorporate into a mass marketable item when the Wii first launched right?

alot of people might not be excited for this but i for one am.
Ive been playing alot of xbox lately Re5(demo),Gears2,Dead Space,i beat Bioshock(Fontaine was easy as hell), even Halo and even though they are great games one thing i cant get over since i play alot of Wii and Pc for my fps is that the controls on the xbox are so clunky.

ill agree with you i do think they could have done a better job with picking something different then on rails, no doubt about that. I do however think its cool that we are atleast getting a exclusive Dead Space game in the series.
Although like i said ill agree that i really wish it had been a TPS instead of rails but i can see why they did it . What im hoping for now is that they do try to give us an "experience" as they say because as much as i like arcade shooters t...
Tell me it wouldnt be awesome if Motion + was used .....and you could see your hand FPS style in real time with your hand.........like you could put your hand down and the character on the screen would to when you go to shoot he thrust his hand back up and you could use the twisting motion all in real time, i think that could heighten the suspense of this game.
I'll have to say though that for a on rails this is actually a good step forward. Rails are usually much to easy for me even on the highest difficulty.
This game will be more like Killer 7 because you'll be able to point where you go but not move yourself which is much better then nothing.
To think Sidar alot of games are actually on rails that alot of us look over because the game is so great.

Killer 7,Sin and Punishment,Starfox 64, some parts in Contra ...
if you like xbox games then it being replaced (if it does die) shouldnt affect you buying it.
Well that will def. up the difficulty which is nice. Hope they do other unique things with the weapons besides just the Rivet Gun.
