completely agree, that's the only type of achievement i care about.
Your Wii's been broke for a year :)
"It's not a universal achievement system"
True but the support for achievements are getting better on Wii.
Your actually right about that. Many gamers look to achievements for added replay value, can't say I blame them.
Good to see more Wii devs putting achievements in their games. Its about time.
Having a blast. For being so new this game actually has a load of gamers playing online. Good ones too.
lol we get Yoshi, but yea Im disappointed as well.
I have faith Nintendo will still produce challenging games for the peopel who want them. I don't mind having this feature as I don't need to use it, but find it may be useful for new-comers to gaming.
Where was this feature for Battletoads, Double Dragon or even Paperboy?
360,000 copies for Resort not bad for one region.
Darkside it's not called a "problem" if you change controls around. Thats like getting in a car and the seat not being perfectly situated and getting mad that it's the default setting. When games don't let you customize settings that's where there is a problem.
Oh Patcher, they still will. Exclusives may be hard to come by nowadays but they still exist and are a big part of owning multiple systems.
I want his job.
@Snake
"Halo MGS4 GTA4 FF GT"
Of course they sell well. Although Metal Gear on MSX sold poorly as well as the first GTA. It took both of those games with a franchise reboot to get the sales where they are today.
Remember this is for the Wii's core audience. 100,000 units sold in a week is good for this demographic.
@Syro
"I was always told that for a game to be a hit, about 500,000 copies had to be sold. Is this not true? Especially for a console with over 50,000,000 units sold?"
Where did you hear that from? I was under the impression game budget,marketing, outsourcing, and other variables have an affect on individual games. Meaning you can't have one universal number to look for when looking at if a game is a hit or profitable.
@maniacmayhem
You do know God Hand was made by the same people who made Madworld right? Cause I don't think you did...
Your trolling is getting in the way of your research.
Personally i think the "extreme" users of games having an increase in female gamers is a good thing. I really want video games to become mainstream one day and this helps.
wii sports is fun....core or not this game is fun. Thinking any deeper is just missing the point of the game.
Just give us the SNES Turtles in Time for the Virtual Console.
Actually light gun games started in the arcades, which imo are hardcore.
I miss a proper arcade in my area.
Yea after this games online I honestly can't wait to see where HVS takes their next games...online wise.
