The Vita has GAMES!
The whole PC vs console war is silly. You guys know that Sony MAKES PCs right? If they wanted to put the highest GPU/CPU into a game system they could, but it would be crazy expensive and that's not the market they're after. Consoles are meant for easy access, affordability, and ease of use (controller vs kb/m). Game systems don't try to compete with the ever evolving PC standards. Game systems compete with the last gen model (period).
They wonder what's wrong with the youth of today. It's the "everyone gets a trophy" mentality that kids are growing up with.

Engadget ran this story, but pointed out the significant number of people with mobile phones compared to dedicated handheld devices. Sony's decision early on to embrace indie developers has helped them MAKE money on the Vita and Nintendo is actively pursuing more social features for the 3DS.
Yeah you can see the PS4 camera (with the two lenses) on top of the TV. So no controller needed.

@Lock0n it may be because you have a game preordered. I had Final Fantasy preordered and it said Dec 31. I cancelled that game and the ship date for just the launch day bundle changed to Nov 15. You have to select 2 day shipping though.
I'm in NA and if you have ps plus you can just download it from the store.
I'm not a big fan of the KZ series (because I suck at it), but I'm playing the Mercenary bata now and this game looks and plays great! I'm definitely making a purchase and I'll be checking out Shadow Fall as well.
No, the walking dead was also announced.
It seems like it may have a good storyline as well.

I wasn't sure until I watched this video. There's a lot more to this game than I though. It will be day one for me as well.
Edit: They showed a longer version of this after the Sony conference showing some gameplay and environments.
He showed new screens of Beyond 2 Souls at the roundtable after the conference. The game is huge and looks really good.
It's funny how all these late reviews are giving lower scores. It's as if they're intentionally trying to bring the game down. Just got the game yesterday and I'm having a blast.
Artwork looks really good. May have to check this game out.
