Except you have a choice to buy last year’s game instead of this year’s Pokemon if you find that the differences between both games are minimal. They didn’t force your hands to buy the new version.

And to a small minority of those on this site who said Pokemon don’t push console sale, well you are wrong again. When Pokemon releases for the Switch, a full fledged console game at that, the Switch will fly off the shelves even faster than it is right now.
I find it abit too difficult compared to modern point and click game due to too many buttons on screen. But if you like classic point and click games like Indiana Jones and Larry Suit, this game would be perfect for you.
I agree. Even the Switch version should have been $40. A remastered game (and a 6 years old game at that) should never cost the same as a new AAA release.

As for me, I go physical all the way because I can save some space in my SD card, I can use the case for display, and I can always trade the game once I finish it.
I only buy digital if the shops in my country don’t not have the game that I want, or have it too late. This is why I had just bought Skyrim Switch digitally a few days ago.

You know how much support Nintendo give to their consoles that had sold well? Look at the Gameboy, Wii, DS, 3DS.

Yes I had never played in VR (Unless you count Gear VR) but I base my opinion on the reviews and many of those who had played it.
