Check my submissions and comments - I have a mild preference for Xbox as I had an OG Xbox and a 360 back in the day. Most of my friends are on Xbox Live.
But...
Sony is already ploughing through MS when it comes to single-player experiences.
When Sony say they will continue to do so, I believe them wholeheartedly.
I only hope that (as other commenters pointed out) MS look at the sales figures and the acclaim and follow suit.

Very fair review, cannot argue at all about the campaign - seems like it was the bare minimum required to stop people melting down.
The rechargeable battery pack for Xbox is not standard.
Not enough even on the Elite (which is otherwise phenomenal)
You are even unable to buy a first-party rechargeable controller on Xbox.
You have to buy a AA-fed controller, then a rechargeable battery pack and stick them together.
