I have had both and I enjoy them both equally, as a determining factor in what I always buy first though if I had to choose... I simply choose what I will use more first or what I think I will get the most out of.
For instance when buying games, I almost always will buy online games first because I know they have much more replay value than single player games.
PS+ is god send with the Vita also or any Playstation device for that matter.

What doesn't make sense about anything you say, if the PS4 CPU was as weak as claim, then why the heck is almost every multiplatform game running better on PS4 and most the time at higher resolutions and frame rates? Not including people have run actual benchmarks proving the PS4's CPU is actually faster. Stress tests do not lie.

Galactic Civilizations III would have no problem running on PS4 or Xbox One, so that is a poor example. They just did not put it on consoles, it only requires 6GB for the best settings for III. I & II require even less RAM only 256mb-512mb.
Watch Dogs is 8GB for ultra on PC. So even then it is still in the 8GB ballpark.
I think a game that would be a really good example is probably Star ...
I don't see how even within their lifespans. Games on PC rarely ever need more than 8GB or actually use it all now, so I can't imagine anyone even worrying about that on consoles if PC games haven't even pushed further yet.

I love Nintendo Directs but the problem I see with them which maybe you do also is usually only avid Nintendo users even know what it is in the first place to watch them. So it only informs their current users what is new.
