MM did that teaser trailer a few weeks ago.
GG was also teasing a few weeks ago...
Maybe both! That would be awesome.
@exacutioner... bad spelling...
Anyway, the ps4 has about 30 more games to play than it's direct competitor. Also, here's a snippet on the top 20 (before tlou) ps4 vs x1 games.
"Average Metascore of the Top 20 PS4 Games: 84.5
Average Metascore of the Top 20 Xbox One Games: 78.9
Highest/Lowest PS4 Score: 91/80
Highest/Lowest Xbox One Score: 91/69
90+ on PS4: 3
90+ on Xbox One: 1

Quality is subjective...
Units sold is trying to measure subjective. Also, units sold is usually pandering to the finance sector and the investors within.
Units sold is different from quality. Take the last of us with its 200+ GOTYs and compare it to a (multiplatform, especially) game like gta, bf4, and the like.... Not that the latter aren't a good sign of quality, I'm just saying that the number of units sold greatly out-weigh the game with many, ...
Thank you...
If he compared those multiplatform games on the specific platform's sales with an exclusive game THEN he'd have a basis for his argument.
Funny thing is that I don't think a 60 constitutes as crap... Not great, maybe not good, but crap? No. Mediocre.
But, yes, I think xbox losing their exclusives only devalues the brand... after all, a great many trolls touted those games as the best reason to own a xbox one.
@youaresalty, "Cutting out competition and closing your platform is what console buyers have been complaining off for ages. Suddenly, limiting choice is for the "players"? "
Then why won't EA launch access on PC, 360, or ps3? Those have a much, much, MUCH larger back catalogue... Again, because it's only new gen, I feel it's more of a marketing campaign (see also: playing a game-demo-early-acess that you must PURCHASE WHILE PAYING FOR EAACCESS ...
I don't know, "swatting" is a thing. Fez's creator and flappy bird's creator quit because of threats...
Religion has the worst fans ever. Crusades of genocide... sports fans physically fight each other... politics are opinion-based and has assassinations...
I'd say gamers are annoying, but somewhat calm comparatively.
I agree with Cueil... The hateful, trolling fanboys need to go. However. The ones that can be objective and create discussion while listening to the others are good.
Then there are closet fanboys like angelic, who always make great points but need help on the delivery. Sometimes you can't tell if he's'she's serious as the opposite fanboy can point out just as many counter arguments about Microsoft....
That's where the fanboy wars start... ...
Yeah, I think this is a move for EA to try to get more from great sales like that.
They can offer those "discounts" via THEIR service while stopping it on other services in conjunction with the monthly fee.
The more I learn about EA access the more skeptical I get about how it affects US GAMERS in the long run.
Edit: I just don't trust EA's motive.
@bigpappy,
You see, ea is double dipping. In all these articles I, very rarely, see people mentioning that as EA access will ONLY OFFER *OLD* (OR UNPOPULAR OR QUICKLY DEVALUING GAMES LIKE SPORTS) EA GAMES, then as many gamers are forgetting, that to play the game with the most friends and other players is to play it in the first half year...
This means, that after the hype of a game... or better known as in business, "the most likely time to purchase&quo...
I know crytek won, but the amount of game obviously wasn't taken into effect, both length in story and overall playable area...
<shrug> but what do I know about resources and assets in game developing.
Yeah, the only reason I use ps voice commands is when I can't find my game in my row of 30+, the folders thing well be nice. Love the simplicity, and even more with these screens.
The snap like trophy viewing and other notifications will be welcomed too.
@thrust, "waitstation"
So it comes down to "waitstation" vs "NoExclusivesBox" by your logic.
I used to work at one, hate it as well.
But I can't tell you how many people yelled at me when I told them the trade value of their "new(ish) game."
I hate GameStop because the uppers push the clerks (incentivising without having an incentive) to SELL to (usually ignorant) customers rather than help them to find a game.
Not to mention other stupid decisions like putting live product (systems) by the front door then yelling at ma...
I'd buy if it made mouse to console capabilities.
Yeah, but it's just a rational conclusion of a frustrated consumer (especially with proprietary electronics).
I can't blame the company, but it's not fair to blame the consumer for calling the company greedy either.
Personally, I think using industry standards is more consumer friendly than proprietary... So, yes, it's an extension, perhaps it's a measure, of greed.
@pastysmash, "4K gaming will never catch on. "
Well, people said that about 720/1080... technology grows fast. So never? Not never.
Right now, yes, it's for those with cash to burn. However, a few years will tell.
That's funny, as most of the ps+ offerings have been giving a lot of single player experiences.
I just don't get people's expectations of these two services. Supply and demand dictates AAA prices, and Sony purchasing those licensing agreements is what brings those games available.
The absurdity in some of these, "I'm canceling" complaints always baffles me. I wish I could keep up with the six games a month that they give me.
This always made me laugh: http://youtu.be/K1KqJytNSXs
Crytek has always made pretty games, gj.
People who don't get supply and demand.
