Probably will help the mini games

Don't forget 16 layers.

With that logic there will be no big budget games in the red on meta critic, right?

Oh, I see 4 out of 9 are AAA flops...

The problem isn't having the games to play, the problem is steam/xbox/psn finding a good way to curate their stores so we can sift out the subjective junk easily. Some people hate ___ and some people love it.

The best way to do so now is to read reviews and decide. Or start with a demo if applicable. Having more game...

Wait, it has a platinum? How'd I miss that?

Time to play more.

You were right until you said "indie crap."

Indie =/= crap
AAA =/= good

Ignorant misconception.

@pinkcrocodile75

The saint said, "unpopular console." He did not say the console sucked. Popularity is simply an observation.

Also, he was poking that at truefan as truefan's hypocrisy and delusions know no bounds.

Funny that psnow bothers you about your ps4 when psnow is its own concept.

Psnow will cross save and play your games amongst your ps3, ps4, psv, pstv, bravia tvs, and plans to come to other devices like tablets and I'd speculate PC later.

How is that a ps4 problem? I see it as a psnow problem as a separate entity entirely.

I would say, IF.. IF it's a ps4 problem then it's actually a blessing as ps4 effectively (more than) DOUBLED ...

Considering red box's lack of selection too... $1-$2/day @ rb or $0.81/day @ psnow...

No hardware limitations, no leaving the house. Yeah, the other pricing need work, but the week is starting to make sense to me.

4246d ago 7 agree0 disagreeView comment

How was this article defending the pricing? It was defending 1 out of 4 pricing options, yes, but it slammed the rest ("avoid the 4 day option like the plague").

Objectively, the article only defended around 20-25% of the prices.

25% because it was only defending the weekly price @ an average of 5.65, and ~20% when you realize he mentioned games like saint's row.

Again, 5.65/week is very much in line with other rental services, ...

@chaosx, never do a sub-based system? It wouldn't have to compete with PlayStation plus... how could they not consider the benefits to a subscription service.

@vitalogy, "I wonder how much sony paid IGN for this."

In the article I just read I saw these few points:

-"Now, let's be totally clear: the other rental options on Now -- four hours, 30 days, and 90 days -- seem to make very little sense, especially (but not limi...

@andrew,

Andrew, I don't know where you got that list, but that list is pushing your biased agenda and not the truth.

I agree with Jeff.

Also, this could cause a lot of studios signing under these publishers to lose out on profits they deserve.

And Nick, yes, we can choose not to buy it, but if it steers the industry as a whole that direction, then the people who bought it stole my ability to choose.

A vast library of games... on xbox1?

There's 8 right now. And it's a way to profit on their annualised titles that quickly lose value when the next year's version releases (mainly sports).

But seriously... if the service extended to last generation, then you could argue vast. Until it includes to last gen or their current gen library grows, I am still skeptical of this service.

Dead space 3 (which is an EA game) was last month, crysis 3 this month... it gets big titles too, you just conveniently left out the other two consoles that PlayStation plus also benefits.

Just saying.

I concur. It's also annoying when people imply that it's specific to PlayStation devices like this "backwards compatibility" feature suggests.

It's not backwards compatible when the service hits the tablet and more market as those were NEVER compatible, period. People too quickly forget the different possibilities that open up.

I laughed at your comment, arkardo.

Then I laughed at the two responses.

Cheers to delusions and/or trolls... honestly can't tell with them anymore.

Maybe it's that they do shoddy deals like money hatting, terrible consumer practices, online passes, and more.

@thrust, " The PSnow slayer :)"

Except downloadable games have to be ported and localised for the xbox1 and psnow doesn't as it just needs the stream from the servers on Sony's side... hence psnow being planned for tablets and other devices.

I'm still skeptical of ea access, need more information before I judge either way.
