good move if true, it makes it that more tempting to pick up one, and it will stand out cause it just looks different, the standerd for most consoles were black and having white in the mix makes it a little better, of course Red and Blue and some other funky ones would be nice to stand out.
Not to be mean or anything but thats the problem if it was dont on Blu ray we wouldnt get to see all the nice textures and true sounds like it was ment to be, and if were built from the ground up on 360 and put on DVD9 it wouldnt look like its true form but rather dumb down like most games on the 360, for example R6 Vegas, can anyone tell me why the background of the game looks like that IE paper mountain and non moving sky, or why each building look like they put 3 pieces of cardboard boxes ...
This is a very bad move, for one lets say by the time this thing does come out, PS3 should be around 8-10million sold world wide, so that would mean Microsoft would have to hope to sell 10million to reach the Blu ray installed based, and to make things worse by that time PS3's should be a little cheaper, and if they release it anywhere from 4-600 they are in big trouble. Game looks good but the voice acting is kinda off, they need to lip sync it a little better.
This is how it is, HD DVD may be outselling the Blu ray in the hardware department (Not by alot) but software is where it matters because Movie studios are making money off of software not hardware and as long as Blu Ray has the lead in this via sales, then more support will be added in the near future.

Well now that they feel better about going in to the holiday and beyond, my guess is now they will start pushing advertisement for the PS3, much more than before do to the price, and on top of that it seems the 80gig will stick with Motorstorm even after the price drop, which is pretty cool.
I really Doubt this would happen, if it does then they will have to really catch up to the PS3 installed based with blu ray, because they would have to basically start all over again, and not only that but it screws basically everyone who has a 360 now unless they want to take another punch upside the head instead of complaining about it. Ya I have a feeling the more better Blu ray does, the more businesses will slowly turn their backs on it because money is going under the table to try and make Blu ray lose one way or another. They just need to let things be, if one loses so what.
Cant really say anything here, since it goes both ways. If Vgchartz says xbox360 is outselling PS3 in EU the xbox fans get happy when its the same for the PS3 its the other way around. But VG is the most accurate thing we have until the NPD comes out but then again NPD doesnt account for EU and the other countries.
It should be, the only difference is theres some add-ons for this one, so it should read the saved files.
I think PS3 will be in 3rd place at the end of 07, dont get me wrong it will sell well, but I think it will sell so good that it will finally take the lead mid to late 08 as its true powers are finally shown to the public and more promotions, and 09 will be PS3's real big year and beyond that its going to be crazy as devs finally understand the cell and RSX tag team combo and find different ways on how to use them.
Since HDMI is the future HD basically, I would choose that over VGA, VGA is being replaced by DVI anyway, so why take a step back?

I agree, I think Killzone 2 for PS3 has set the standards already, if Guerilla can work with the memory and push the game like it is now, theres no excuse for other companies to complain about problems unless your not a vet at coding cause you probably slacked off at school.

ITS A THREAT GUYS, EVERY PS3 OWNER MUST WATCH THEIR BACKS IN THE STREETS ALL THIS WEEK, CAPCOM HAS SOME GUYS COMING FOR US!. Na but just kidden lol, hopefully its something new or maybe something like we didnt say we scrapped the PS3 version of monster hunt, orrrrrrrr maybe that monster hunt is for wii and PS3 is getting the next installment exclusive probably with online co op :)
