Heres the problem elite360, why bring up one game? is that the only game you can dog on, 6hrs? you act like blu ray will never have more than 6hrs, if you think so then your just a bad fanboy.
Actually it was, its called trying to throw back something in peoples face, as you can see it didnt take long for someone at the start of this news to say something about the PS3.
Pretty cool, I like that little news bar on the side, they should also make one where you see you have a message, because sometimes you might be into a good game and wont see the message box pop up, so it would be cool if they added a little sidebox telling you if you have any new messages.
You know what this means, sure its good thing to show that blu ray isnt needed but at the same time just imagine the possibility of what could have been if it took up more space, probably a bigger galaxy or even more places to explore, maybe more dialog, more customization, the list can go on. Again its good that they prove a good game like this doesnt need HD DVD or Blu ray but at the same time with those to big other formats they could have expanded the game even more. Isnt this old, ive seen this for some while now.
But the good thing about the PS3 as a blu ray player is that it can be updated and nice features could be added, which if the consumers were notified by such things like this they would spend that price rather then a 3,000 dollar system.
Even with the 199 HD DVD players, I think game consoles in general always outsell things like that since not to many people see the use in it, and most of them have kids which want some type of gaming console, so even though sony is losing some amount of money per unit, the HD DVD camp is overkilling themselves just to try and beat Blu ray by coming out with a super low price such early in the war.
Ya i kinda knew this, while working at UPS today 2 boxes from gamestop were opened, I saw the PS3 and 360 version, I looked on the back of the 360 version, I think it says 24 players via system link and 18 players online and 720p/1080i/1080p

one big mistake they made was saying home finally being out of beta 2008 christmas? its suppose to be final in spring not christmas. And the white PS3 to the US isnt 100% sure yet.

As far as 1st party games go, there havent been any frame rate problems, and if the 1st devs can spread their knowledge or give insight to the other devs such as 3rd party, there shouldnt be any problem. But at the same time this poster acts like the 360 has very little problems when it comes to specs, so he hits on the PS3 even more, and theres tons of other articles out there that go into better detail and arent just one sided.
