are you sure? cause the update file was so small it took like under 5sec to download, and you must reboot for MMS to work.
it makes me wonder if PS3 still had BC with that 299 price tag,if those PS2 numbers could have added to the PS3 sales, but then again PS2 is still dirt cheap, but i think spending 299 is much better because not only can you play old titles with a large library but you also get next gen with very good titles and more to come soon.
Dont forget i think another factor to its big sales is that MS added betacodes of some sort for Halo Reach, and im pretty sure lots of halo fans want to get into that game.
Personally I would have bundled it with the 120GB to keep cost down, because i have a feeling with it being bundled with 250GB thats a new 399 PS3 sku on the market, i rather just sony focus on one sku at 299, so that its easier to price drop earlier on when need at the end of 2010 or so, also it would kind of make the 250GB xbox360 stand out more in a bad way seeing something that cost 399 vs 299 bundle.
I think GTAIV should replace LPB on that list.

I noticed that some of the PS3 had bundles, i saw a box with the slim and gundam, if there are PS3 slim bundles it could exceed 100k for the week or even 500k for the month, just a wild guess.

im probably the only one but when playing heavenly sword, towards the ending, it had me choked up, i had to hold it back but in the end no tears fell, but it was a pretty close one.
This is kind of old, there were a few games that have hit #1 do to its cheap price and bring the PS3 slim to #2 but the PS3 slim would go back to #1 once the cheap sales ended. Im just shocked someone would actually post a dumb article about this. Lets see a 10 dollar game vs a 299 dollar system, you do the math, either way the PS3 slim will not slip off the top 10 anytime soon, and probably will remain the only console up there for some time now.
They need to make some futuristic AI's that gather information by streaming technology, like a dev would have a server just for that game, and the codes would stream into every AI even if the game is off or something, and change the program language, movements, etc. sounds kind of crazy but im just tired :(

I think companies should start doing like some car companies and do things like 10 year warranties just cause lol, 1 year is getting old, we need a new industry standard written in to law or something.
