For me it is not about the difficulty itself. The setting, the atmosphere of the game has to completly suck me in in order to make me enjoy to struggle through the game and make me want to put time into learning patterns and reading enemy moves.
And for me, I find that medieval setting of the dark soul games extremly boring so at some point i lose the motivation to progress through the games.
With sekiro though, the settings seems fun, like nioh in which i sank ho...

I became addicted to bloodborne, while I lost any motivation to progress further through Ds2 and 3.
Also i am not good at parrying so I am aware that sekiro isn't the right game for me.
A Bloodborne 2 announcement would bring me tears of joy, i guess.
Last year I contacted customer support after i accidently bought a battlefield 1 season pass for 50 Euros. They told me if I didn't start the game it would be no problem to get a refund, so they added 50euros to my psn credit. Don't know if things would have been different if it had been a full game though.

I also kind of enjoyed and completed jc3 (which i got from ps plus) but lets be honest, QA Teams were already on vacation during the development of this game.without playing it myself, I can't imagine jc4 to be more buggy, the gameplay and the visuals more outdated and the ai worse than it already was in jc3.
The setting alone makes bloodborne imho stand out above all the other fromsoft games.
Mk8 isn't a SWITCH EXCLUSIVE, because it is already on wiiu. It was an wiiu exclusive which got ported to switch and now isn't a wiiu exclusive anymore. That's it.

For me it is Bloodborne by far! - None of the Souls games sucked me in like that dark and twisted setting this masterpiece offers. I'm currently on dark souls 3 and have to force myself to atleast play it once in a while, to progress a little bit, while bloodborne made me start a ng+ straight atleast 9 times right after completing it.
I really hope sony and from soft will give us bloodborne 2
With all the underwhelming 3rd party games coming out, how can it be an good that x1 is mainly a 3rd party machine??? To play those lacking games everybody is ranting about? At the moment there is no justification for buying an xbox 1 other than being an diehard xbox fan, sorry.
I always read about them on the internet, but haven't met a person, who actually has an xbox in years.
But you can have those 3rd party games + loads of top tier high quality exclusives on the competition's console. Yeah, throwing away x1 might be too much, but gifting it to someone who can't afford to buy a playstation and might be grateful to get to play at least some worthwile modern games among the sad semi exclusive lineup and the boatloads of soulless cashgrab 3rd party mt games,might be the right thing to do.

Not fanboy definition but common sense and logical thinking makes them multiplats, maybe console exclusives at best. Just like 99% of xbox 1 games which are multiplats/ console exclusives.
But this doesn't impact playstation that much because it has loads of true exclusives from first, second and third parties left.
