Usually they (devs) won't include released patches on the disc for the same versions afaik. But they often include these patches in newer versions like goty, gold, definitive, complete editions or whatever they call these these versions.

i don't see why he should lose all the games he paid for. Maybe ban him online if they feel the need, but don't take the games.
That's why i'm not a huge fan of digital versions. I'd only buy them dirt cheap in sales but i still be pissed if they got taken from me
I wonder how many outright crappy, failing games EA is going release until they figure out that the have to focus more on quality. I'm not the biggest fan of gaas games, but if they want to focus on games like that they should at least build a solid foundation and not release these games in beta or alpha stage and hope for the consumers to accept this pratice.

There are plenty of people who are always a console gen (or two) behind because they can't effort or don't want to spend a lot of money on the newest hardware. i will happily sell my ps4 to one of them once i move on to ps5.
The are some good preorder deals for physical version of games which i like to take advantage of from time to time though. I preordered days gone for 43 euros. I might not open it and wait for review embargo to drop, so i can return it back to the seller to get my money back. Or if i'm impatient i will try it myself and if i don't like it i probably will find someone who is willing to give me 43 bucks.
Being of a minority myself, i don't give a damn if there is a minority lead in any game or not.
The artists should make the game after their own vision but i will decide if i support the game based on its message. I believe it shouldn't be mandatory for games(and movies) to be diverse and inclusive

It isn't an ms accomplishment that thirds release games on xbox, it is just thirds releasing games on platforms where they are comfortable to sell that product on and make money.

Preordering games digitally is wrong in the first place. With physically it could be different because certain games might be sold out shortly after release, like nioh did where i live.
But digital games are unlimited, preordering them them only entices devs to cut out content for preorder bonuses.

But back in the days there wasn't such a flood of games to chose and purchase from. These fromsoft games are well known by now so if one is still ready to spend money on them, either one has to face the fact that he might have to invest time to learn patters etc to really get through the game or accept that there is a possibility that he might not be able to finish the game because of the lack of skill.

But lets be real, ea would probably love to hire the guy or atleast copy his business model, because he knows how to make people pay millions and millions for a game that will always be in early access. That's exactly how they try to do it, but don't succeed YET.
