No paid DLC, that went wrong.
A huge part of the problem was that it didn't have paid DLC. It wasn't monetized from the beginning for it to sustain regular free content, at least not to the standard of previous titles, so they didn't invest much into it. BF1 ended up with 30 maps after 4 DLCs, BF5 doesn't even have 20, considering 2 of them are not available for all game modes.
Well, considering her upbringing in the books and the ending in W3 that makes most sense canon-wise, where she becomes a witcher and travels the land with Geralt hunting monsters before each of them took off on their own Path, and the Gwent trailer kinda showing that she didn't actually become Empress but continued to travel with Geralt, a Ciri game would be amazing.

Yes, it was infuriating to read all those idiotic comments about historical accuracy... Except for 1942 and Vietnam DLC for BC2, none of the BF games have been historically accurate.
