You can disagree all you like. It's a fact that consoles are holding technical advances back. While we're getting 128 players in a BF game in 2021, PlanetSide 2 managed a 1000+ player battle years ago.

If they made the game PC only right from the beginning this wouldn't have happened. Then a year or two after release bring it to consoles with a proper port. How do you expect to push the boundaries when you have to make the game run on 10 year old tech...
If they make bigger maps they can even push beyond 128, which should be done.
Now imagine that 100 million user base collectively throwing a temper tantrum because they don't have a next gen console and they can't play BF6. Everybody would be crucifying EA for not making it for last gen. Whatever EA do, people will bitch and moan.
It should've been PC only right from the start and then ported properly to consoles and we wouldn't have this mess.
