I really love to see a game be successful. More so when a company pours thier blood sweat, and tears into it.
They very much deserve to have a successful game.
Good job Bungie.
2 Hours? It comes out on Tuesday at 12:01AM dont it?
Am I missing something?
Have to agree with you. No doubt this game is going to be a lot of fun, but no game deserves a perfect 10.
9.9 is fine with me, but I truely don't like anything being given a perfect score.
Oh well. That could be why I am not a game reviewer :).
10-12 hours on Normal difficulty it seems.
The reviewer said that the Legendary setting, adds quite a few hours onto that.
Should be fun.
GOTY is really up for grabs I think.
Bioshock will defiantly give Halo a run for it's money. In the end though I think the sheer power behind the Halo machine will give it GOTY honors in the end.
It certainly is going to be exciting time of year, when the awards start getting handed out.
Honestly I really love Forza. The visuals vs. GT5 aren't quite as high. However Forza does what it needs to do, in order to be a FUN game.
I am in a Forza league and truly enjoy the racing that Forza provides.
To each his own though.
I can't wait for GT5 either... 16 cars at once, in High Def... yeah that's going to be great.
My fiancee and I are enjoying Warhawk, Tekken 5, and Heavenly Sword.
One of the many reasons I want to be her husband.
I think it adds a bit something when you, and your significant other can both enjoy something.
King.... seriously do your self a favor and go pick up a Greatest Hits version of FFVII for cheap.
Play the original game. You need to have an appreciation for that before you will be able to truly appreciate a remake.
I am sure I don't stand alone when I say this.
Really one of the greatest games ever made.
It's going to be a Metal Gear Soda, Happy Meal toy, 10 different commercials, and the controller is going to shake.
:)
"That's all the PS3 is really good for. Video processing/streaming. BluRay...
Not optimal for games though. And that's reality!"
So let me get this straight. It's good for VIDEO processing, but that does not translate to VIDEO gaming in any way shape or form. OK.
Perfectly logical.
Is this not the 3rd 9/10 that it has gotten though? I might have miscounted.
Is it possible that the hold up could actually be they part where the put the image onto disc?
I mean DVD has been around for a couple of years, and the "burning" process is probably faster, and more readily available.
Where Bluray is still really new, and might not be as fast to distribute?
Just a thought I wanted to throw out there. What do you all think?
@ 11.1
What is so hard to believe about it? Think...
That's pretty cool right there.
So is this a collaboration between Square, and MS?
I wonder if this could mean something video game-wise down the road.
Cool device though.
I guess this begs to question if the people are in line for the Matrix, or in line for the HD-DVD player?
Cool though. It's a hell of a deal.
Where did that comment come from?
They are not even the same genre.
Regardless I just hope it plays better than Dirt. It seems this reviewer really enjoyed it.
I was a bit let down by Dirt. :( RIP Colin
RIP.
You will be missed.
I have thought about this a few times myself. I think lowering the price of the PS2 would have 2 results.
1. More PS2 Sales. Sales in general can only help Sony.
2. More PS2 Sales = More interest in Backwards Compat from the PS3.
My guess is that Sony is hoping for number 2. Which in the long run would help with PS3 sales.
Helping against Halo 3..... that's a whole other ball of wax. Its only going to help a little. I think Sony is awar...
I apologize for asking a stupid question, but was Halo 2 as advertised as 3 is?
I mean when 2 released was it this hyped up by the media?
For some reason I don't recall the release of Halo 2 being this crazy, and advertised.
Then agian I have never really followed Halo until recently.
Bubble for you.
I don't really miss rumble, but anything that adds to the experience is always welcome.
Same here, this just means I will have 4 controllers. Not a big deal.
