Exactly :) it might sound a bit dramatic, but situations like this shape the games industry, and I'm glad the great decisions sony made are being reflected with excellent sales, other companies learn from it (Microsoft) and that means ALL gamers win in the end :P

If you think its just a hack 'n' slash your playing it wrong, Its one of the most in depth, immersive and rewarding game series I've ever played.
and that's before i even get started on how much of a great rpg it is :)
But the goty argument is still your opinion that I respect. I just can't stand it when people degrade it to hack 'n' slash status, and that's coming from someone who is a huge god of war fan among many other awesome ...
@segamon If you play in the covenant of champions from the start it is just as hard, besides Demon/dark souls has always been as hard as you want it to be,
@lonelyplayer I agree its not as gd and does lack direction but that didn't stop it from being goty so far, I can't think of another game I enjoyed as much and can't see any forthcoming release topping it, but hey, i'll be open minded :)

they treat it like an extra incentive for peeople to actually come to comic-con, or they show it behind closed doors to reward the fans there.

and will likely be better than anything that comes out in the next year. It was the ps3's swan song and I for one am really happy that so many people who never owned a Ps3 will finally be able to play this moment of gaming bliss :P
Exactly, everybody is trying to guess and are failing to realise that you will NEVER guess what kojima has planned. But what really baffles me is...why would you want to guess? Kojima is a genius and I can't wait for him to blow my mind like the troll he is. He has never disappointed me and I know he won't start now :DD
