Game legit has the best combat I’ve ever seen. Epic, powerful, fast, fluid, easy to learn, difficult to master, so satisfying and everything just makes sense when your fighting. Exploration and side quests are incredible too, gameplay is all there. Games that have poor gameplay aren’t universally praised for having absolutely incredible gameplay. Agreed, and yes although there is a lot of cool stuff on there.....I have never such such a huge collection of trash in my life when I scroll through looking for something to watch. So yeah 95% trash, 5% gold (but as mentioned usually sequels without the originals)

Looks great and exactly what I want from an indie game. Not sure why gamespot gave it a 5 but that is concerning. Funds and time are tight right now with all the releases and can’t really be bothered to buy a game that may be a bust right now. I’ll keep an eye on others opinions before I buy it I think 🤔

Ghosts looks incredible too, I’m sure it will be amazing. with the track record of both sucker punch and from software, you CANNOT go wrong. Next year is going to be incredible (or 2020 may be more likely...which makes me sad😂 I need them now!)
I love it when devs this good take a risk and move away from an established ip. These types of companies have so many original ideas, I mean look at souls, then bloodborne, now this, the kind of originality in games over the last couple of years reminds me of the PS1/N64 days, can’t wait for this and it looks like they are ready to show us this bad boy finally!

No you have underestimated the inflation. An 8 is average for most outlets. A 7 is a below average or bad game and a 6 is when the reviewer begins to have a personal vendetta against the game. Any lower and it means pure hate. It’s always been that way. It shouldn’t be, of course it makes no sense but hey, people don’t make sense.

The scoring systems are broke. When a website/magazine gives a game an 8 it’s really a 6. A 7 is really a 4-5 and less is saying the game is trash. It’s been this way for the last 20 years AT LEAST so I don’t know why this is hard for some to understand. So no, a 7 is not a good score. You can complain that the scoring system is not used appropriately by 95% of websites but that’s not going to change the perception of review scores in people’s minds.

I’ll be honest, I refuse to stop calling out Microsoft on their crap, as I have always bought every console since the ps1 N64 days. There have always been games as all consoles I need and it has always broke the bank for me. But not this gen.
