It's a pretty neat list, however, too many " big " games - Pokemon, Mario, Pikmin in one conference could become an issue. Like Apple would never introduce a new iPhone, new macBook and it's self driving car in one event.
Theres also the Animal Crossing Smartphone app that was announced over a year ago and has since then never seen the light again, only for it to be delayed twice.
Pikmin 4 is proabbly sure to be shown at E3.
Great list, we can only hope for. I believe an Animal Crossing would make a pretty big splash, fans have been waiting for years. There hasn't been much in years ( minus the welcome amiibo update, and spin offs ).
A metroid game would be terrific, but not sure if Nintendo would do this at the E3 and not in a separate event?
For 3rd party support, I am almost convinced we will see Story of Seasons and Stardew Valley running on the Switch.
I hope EA keeps it's promise of making Fifa a dedicated game and not a poorly executed port.
Nicely said wonderfulmonkeyman, I fully agree.
nice i didnt know!
True, more to come soon :) Wonder Boy is a descent game and worth playing.
True, I think the switch would be capable running this games at 30 frames at least. Seems to drop below that frequently.
very true! zelda, pikmin, animal crossing, smash bros, mario,s splatoon 2, arms and so much more will already make it worth buying a switch
nice!
I guess that's true. Each console has some exclusive games, but i would think that its not the majority who goes after that when deciding to buy a ps4 or xbox one. While making the decision to buy a Nintendo would be primarily based on 1st party games i'd think
lets hope so
great review!
New animal crossing and fallout, yes please!
Even tho they are the main support as you claim, I still strongly believe that 3rd party will never become Nintenods main driver like it does to some extend on PS4 and Xbox One where 3rd party support seems to be a lot more important.
And Fantasy Life was exclusive to the 3DS.
very nice, looking forward to this
i hope so!
That's exactly right. Some lackluster ports like Lego Undercover will not benefit the console. The only 3rd party games that really make an impact on Nintendo consoles, are the ones that are exclusive to Nintendo, like Story of Seasons.
Looking at the sales figures of 3DS games, the top 20 are almost elusively Nintendo , while 3rd party support is important to some extend, it can also make for poor publicity like the LEGO port where the Switch looked greatly underpower...
I think the 3DS is the living proof that Nintendo systems don't only live of 3rd party support. The only 3rd party titles that do help the consoles are ones that are exclusive to the system, and tailored to the Nintendo audience. I.e Story of Seasons.
Once Skyrim, or Fifa hit the Switch people will compare it to the PS4 or PC version ... and of course we know what that means. I doubt anyone out there will say " I am going to buy the Switch to play Skyrim ".
lol! so true, any step up from last year would also be a win, and that by no means is a challenge. Zelda is an amazing game, one of the best, but focusing the entire e3 around one game. not again - please.
