I compleltly agree, designing the land would be awesome. Bigger towns, more control over where villagers place there house etc.
True the game is hard, even harder when played in co-op
I agree, Animal Crossing Plaza on Wii U was a big tease, it's time to finally release a game using the style they have already developed for MK8, AC Plaza and more.
Thats beautiful, very nice to see this rather simple feature has such big impact on some of the affected kids
Looks like a fun game!
I agree, the two joycons, make tis a great fit for the console to play together anywhere.
Yah the price is a lot 25%-50% less would have been more appropriate I think
very true..
Agree, great atmosphere, and story. Nice visuals too:)
Corroios, I guess only time will tell, but the vibe does feel a lot better than it did with the Wii U Launch :)
Besides very good AAA 1st party support, there is a steady release on 3rd party games. I dont think Nintendo needs COD or B1 on the Switch to survive, its a different system, different eco system and audience to cater to.
If you want to play those games, you will always have the best experience on PC, PS4 and Xbone no question asked, Nintendo is not aiming to fill the void of people who seek to play COD, Destiny 2 etc.
Not a difficult task to do, is it? :)
Pretty neat thinking they plan to sell 14.5 MILLION units until march 2018, this would certainly get a lot of 3rd part developer more interest in the Switch.
I agree, the game is a blast, especially in multiplayer, exploring and building is extremely fun.
I sure have, but I also played it myself on the PS4 as well as on the Switch, and the stuttering, and extreme drop in frame rate happens a lot more often on the Switch. Dont get me wrong I love the Switch, I would even go as far as saying its my favorite console, but Lego City Undercover was unacceptable as $60 game on the Switch. While it is a great game, the performance issue really do bother me, and that has rarely ever been the case with any game before.
You are missing the point, yes 3rd party games can sell well. But a lackluster port like Lego City undercover that ran really well on PS4 ran like a .. potato .. on the Switch, dropping well below 20 FPS. This is the kinda port that can hurt the Switches reputation, making it look weaker than it is.
The article does not say that 3rd party support is not needed, although Nintendo can do without, and has proven so in the past. What it needs is good 3rd party support, develop...
There are many lackluster 3rd party games that aren't Japanese, Lego city undercover being one of them. Its a shame that a game like this can drop below 20 frames on the Switch. Snake Pass was a descent port comparing well with the PS4 version, theres no reason Lego City Undercover shouldnt have been able to accomplish the same. It ended up making the Switch a lot weaker than it is.
I thought it was great, especially the co-op drop in drop out works flawlessly, tons of fun!
virtual console took about 4 months to come to wii u hopefully, we will hear about it soon.
On the online service side, i guess we have to wait until fall to see how the mobile app integrates with the switch
But Pokemon usually also boost console sales. Bringing this game sooner than later could make a positive impact.
Splatoon 1.5 and ARMS are great but neither are going to be huge hits, at least I doubt it. Mario this holiday season coild be big, but beyond that Nintendo has not released any news yet, which I hope the E3 will shed some light in the dark.
Pokemon
Animal Crossing
Smash Bros
Metroid
