I really feel dating sim romance is not really Romance. Sometimes it has added scenes like Persona does but it still feel empty when the plot rolls around. I liked in JRPGs the characters would go on an epic quest and sometimes find love along the way. Lost Odyssey did such a great job with this. It does not have to be the main character. Side characters can have just as much romance.
I own a Wii U and since I owned 70% of the games they ported especially the best ones. I have had a real lackluster time owning the switch. They should have made a new mario kart, a new New super mario bros. At least we got a new smash brothers but that series is quickly becoming a call of duty clone. We got a Yoshi clone. Zelda left its formula behind to become an open world survival game. I was really hoping the next one would cater towards the other style but its a not going to be the case...
The game being in 3D is a huge thing to me. I will definitely buy it day 1!

Honestly I have found that pretty much the first final fantasy you play ends up always being up there in your top.
I remember when X was coming out and I was excited every single day until it released and then I loved it. I played it over and over. Now I have almost no hype left in me lol. My first FF was 6/3 on the snes. I played that soooo many times.
After that I went on a final fantasy adventure purchasing and playing every single game I could get my hands on.

I remember when I bought the first Darksiders and the buy behind the counter tried to convince me to buy Bayonetta instead. I am glad I made the choice I did.
Every game on this list would be just fine getting a sequel. I mean the only one I didn't get into was Bastion. I think because my friend told me since I love turned based JRPGs I would love Bastion. I am not sure where he got that idea but it hurt my first time trying the game. I have hence tried it again but its very backlogged.
I would love a game with fresh characters done in the style of the original dragon ball and not the Z type where its power levels and energy blasts and that's about it. techniques and martial art types and such would be awesome to see again.
At this point the people who are working on it are the ones who grew up with it or played it at a young age. It was magic. I still love playing it. I think that is the best thing we have going for us. That and XV was awesome minus it releasing unfinished. That new opening video they put out. Holy Cow that must have taken forever to model and texture each of those tiny details if that huge city. Really felt like the city looks massive from that view.
Well it got one game right.

It needs much more for the value. If you don't spend all your time playing Splatoon.
Those controllers will be broken in a day. The TVs will have cracks and stop working soon after. People do not have any respect for this stuff. I hope they are paying a "security employee" to protect the otherwise doomed station.
I really liked sonic Boom after the patch. Sonic Lost World is really fun too minus the crappy random world design choices. It really wanted to be Super Mario Galaxy on speed but it failed mostly. I think Sonic adventure is WAY better than Adventure 2.

I like about half your list. I am a huge story based gamer and there is a bunch on there that do not have any gripping narrative of any kind. Almost half in fact. Dark Souls 3 and #2!? Not sure this guy knows what storytelling is. Still he has some great stuff on this list. Almost all the decent ones are PS4 exclusives. I don't know why I bother to comment on things.
Its like the sony RIDGED RACER!! meme on PSP or Vita or whatever that game was on. OOOOoooo, the next Fifa! Until I see gameplay it didn't happen. (I hope its an amazing new IP. We need more NEW IPs)
Can we get a team completely dedicated for WOW again. I know you fired over 200 employees but at least you can keep a team working on fixing how broken the game is all over from your horrible level scaling. The worgen starting area is almost completely undo-able.
I cannot express how much this is not what I want from a lego version of mario...
