I predict that not many consumers will touch the mighty Scorpio.
PS5 will of course be more powerful than Scorpio, no question about it, but what XB fans don't seem to understand is... speeding up console generations makes any power gap matter less.

If Nintendo kept putting out the same quality and quantity of games that Sony does there would be even less interest in XB than there is now.
If Nintendo killed all those games in favor of their usual titles, I'd build a PC.
That's hilarious, Rookie. When I saw the headline my first thought was that XB fanboys care far more about articles like this than Sony and Nintendo fanboys do, and here you are.
I'd say they opened with GoW because of the orchestra. The music played for several minutes and, to me anyway, it was close enough to GoW music to make me wonder if that's what it was but I still wasn't completely sure until Kratos spoke and then stepped from the shadows. For me it was one of the coolest E3 moments ever and a great piece of showmanship that would have been at least a little diminished if done another way.
If you felt the need to mention XB at all, why do it that way? I'm 100% a PS guy but I won't read your article.
Writing informally is one thing. Writing with an obvious agenda/bias is another. You at least give the appearance of the latter whether you meant to or not.
Playing a Dead Rising game just makes me wish someone would use the engine to make a much darker and more serious zombie game, so there's no way I'd buy this.
I'm happy to be playing it and I've easily gotten my money's worth already but I knew exactly what I was buying. It really should be labelled as an alpha in the online store and on the retail packaging.
I could have sworn MS got flack for introducing their new console more as a multimedia box than a gaming device, while Sony simply added multimedia functions to a device that was clearly gaming oriented.
smh
OT - MS is in a position where they have to take more risks, and you better believe it's a risk to throw their millions of console fans using controllers up against the mouse and keyboard PC users in online games.
Yeah I knew exactly what I was buying and was looking forward to playing it ever since they announced it for consoles. The only reason I waited to preorder was to see how the controls and menu system worked. Both of those things take some getting used to, but after watching some early streams I went for it and I love it. Definitely agree about the zombies actually feeling dangerous. I had never watched any horde footage so I wasn't sure what to expect. By the time day 7 arrived I felt lik...
Nice. I shoot them with my bow until they fall and then run up with the club. Keeps me from much direct contact and possible infection. I've got enough antibiotics stashed to not worry about it too much anymore but getting infected early on was bad news.
I love this game despite it's rough state, but they asked for bad reviews by releasing it as a full game. There should be very clear warnings in the online store and on the retail packaging : *** This is a playable alpha ***
I knew what I was getting and I can't stop playing, but people who bought it expecting Dying Light with survival elements will no doubt have question marks and exclamation points floating abo...
What Pistols is saying is that he has a short attention span.
Personally I don't understand losing interest in a game simply because time has passed, especially when the "flood of must have games" he's talking about will be mostly more of the same old thing with slightly different graphics.

You're not a gamer, confirmed.
Yeah I kept hearing how amazing the first trilogy was, and then I played it. Possibly the most overrated series ever imo.
Gaming Journalism : Will It Ever Be Good Again?
@Jumper - So you don't know what generic means then, I take it.

I'd also say Days Gone was a better ...
To the people who say this game is generic, I'm curious... what games that were shown at this year's E3 don't look generic to you in some way?

I'd say the people who get alienated by this are actually unhealthy.
MGS5 had the best gameplay of the series… and got skewered by a lot of people for not having enough story.

Before seeing that gameplay I was saying no to that idea, but now I'm easily more excited than I was for GoW3.
My soul is ready to wander the universe. Hope we'll be able to preload the game.

It feels unfinished because it is.
