"The Last Guardian, whilst its release date is still unknown, will be one for the history books."
Really?!? I have zero doubt this will be a great game but why do fanboys think this game will be such a hit? Ico and SoTC combined haven't reached 2 million sales worldwide.
Whatever, this is just another pointless fanboy article. Here's to good games regardless of platform.
I approve this message.
I don't think this arti- random blog will convince anyone because the only people that will see it are the people it's pandering to.
Wow, you would think that with the inclusion of games such as Super Meat Boy and Limbo people would realize that the author is considering more than just the technical aspects of graphics. I guess I shouldn't expect fanboys to grasp that though.
I loved Super Meat Boy and I'll play it longer than Limbo (already have actually) but Limbo is the game that I will remember more a few years from now.
"Try driving an high powered RWD or midship in real life, then you'll see how Forza 3 falls short in realism (while remaining a very good game)."
Same thing can be said about GT5. I've played both games with a wheel and both don't have the same feeling as actually being on the track.
The biggest piece on nonsense spouted this gen was when Sony said we should want to work two jobs to afford a PS3.
Both companies hype their products. Why you would hate one but not the other for this is beyond me.
Personally I would prefer more made up tracks. My favorites in GT & Forza were always the made up ones as they were more interesting.
I'll sum this whole comment thread right now.
360 Fanboy: "Haha teh sales are better, MS wins". This will be met with massive disagrees
PS3 Fanboy: "Teh sales don't matter but even then Sony wins worldwide plus we have teh exclusives". This will be met with massive agrees.
Just another day on N4G
God of War III game of the year?!? Please, it's good but it's not even the best game in it's genre this year (that would be Bayonetta).
I personally would pick Mass Effect 2 and the fact that it isn't even in the runners up is pretty pathetic.
For almost every Sony exclusive this year, I can find a better multi-platform game. Same goes MS exclusives.
Once again being exclusive doesn't make a game better.
From a gamers stand point, I think too much focus is put on exclusive titles. While the two games I'm most looking forward to next year are exclusives (UC3, GoW3), their exclusivity is not why I look forward to them.
Personally I would prefer just one super console and the let the developers battle for our dollars with the games they make.
Based on the comments I read hear I thought N4G meant Not for Gamers since it's mainly fanboys who only agree/disagree with comments based on the amount of praise shown to their preferred system.
Still an entertaining read while I'm bored at work though.
6831 for me, if I added it to my gamerscore that would put me at around 90,000.
I guess I disagree with pretty much this whole article because it's hard to get disappointed by games which I never really had any expectations for to begin with.
That is the best comment I've seen all day. A good game is a good game regardless of platform.
I'm really glad that Halo 3 and MGS4 were on the list. Those two are easily the most overrated games on their respective platforms.
The author was really spot on with lumping MGS4 with MGS2 as MGS & MGS3 are hands down the best in the series.
Halo 3 was the most hyped game I forgot about a month later. At least Bungie finished well with Reach.
I disagree because your post is painful to read see: "if you hate camping then you are sucks".
My view on what you said can be summed up by this video:

A lot of people can't tell the difference between camping and defending. I've had so many people crying at me for camping when defending the objective in S&D it's unbelievable.
And luckily PS3 owners will get to enjoy ME2 (which I think will win overall GotY) next year. Once again exclusive != better game.
