Already have my 130 set to the side and a vacation day scheduled for Tuesday. I'm going to hit up that toys r us special and gift my dad the extra copy of Uncharted 2.
I'm taking the day off work to pick it up and start playing. First time I've ever taken a day off for a game. Well, a two games. Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend.
I read destuctoid pretty regularly and they are one of the most balanced sites I read. I actually consider Jim Sterling to be a rather big Sony fanboy. If you listen to the podcast and actually read the site you'd get that. He's like a guy dating a girl with no job. He loves her he just gets tired of her crap sometimes.

I wanted to buy it for my dad. I would grab two uncharted 2's and brutal legend if you can buy more than one copy of the same game.

It could be because you already posted a similar post. Idk, maybe they thought it was overkill. Hope you do end up picking up the game though. I wasn't into multiplayer either, but I have really enjoyed my time in the beta.
edit: I guess it wasn't overkill based on the disagrees. ::shrugs:: Who knows? I saw your post before and other than the all caps I found nothing deletion worthy.
An 8 is still a good score. On the grading scale it'd be a B. Would an 8 stop you from buying Halo? No, right? So why would anyone need excuses?

I cannot agree with you more. The matchmaking leaves a little to be desired. I just started playing so I'm only a level nine but I was matched with level thirties and up. Let's just say I died...a lot
These sites are just pouring in. I wish that they would wait and play the multiplayer a bit before turning in a review. I'm sure they got some in, but if you have a month why not play the hell out of it to give an in depth review? I'm taking these early reviews with a grain of salt. Still have it preordered. :)

Every now and again I have lag issues. I thought it was just my connection because it happens kinda rarely. Big issue for a lot of people. I guess I just get lucky.
