I've never played a COD game and have little interest in starting now, I'm boycotting Activision games and I'm broke as hell. The most important reason, however, is that Wifey said two games in November. I picked GoW collection and NSMBW.

No, not the grammar thing. It has been shown that the average age of those who own the ps3 is somewhat older than those who own 360's. people with ps3's should, theoretically, be able to afford to buy games as well.
dude, the game is on both consoles. so that ware of shoveling is on the 360 too.

i bought it. it's a great game. i heard some guys on UC2 MP debating whether or not to pick it up because there is just not enough money to go around. thinking about the games i've bought this month alone, demon's souls, uncharted 2, tekken 6, ratchet & clank, brutal legend and borderlands, makes me beg the question: what if i did not have the job i have? i'd have to trim the fat. for some people borderlands is the fat.

I bought more games than I care to admit to this month and last month. Plus, f*ck activision.
Kinda related: I don't know anyone buying the game. :-/ there are obviously like a kazillion people in love with it, but none of my friends, 360 or PS3, are picking it up.

I can say that at least 3 of those 1.5 million people are taken care of. I got UC1 used but bought UC2 day one along with a copy for my dad and my best friend.
sucks that he didn't get the warm glow that other people are getting. i'm playing it this weekend during extra life, but i had to get a little in. i'm at train wreck. i have had a couple issues, but it's not the game. it's me. i hope that once i reach the end i get the warm glow instead of the disappointed feeling.
off topic, is it just me or are there more Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 commercials than uncharted commercials in the states? maybe i don't watch enough sports ball.
I'm sure it is quick and easy and I am sure you enjoy it, but that doesn't mean that someone else has to enjoy it as well. It also does not mean that someone who doesn't care for it has no friends.
When I was younger three way calling was the best thing ever. We could get 6 people going at one time. What it ended up being was a bunch of noise. Maybe xgc isnt that bad, but I personally can do, and have done, without it, but again this is just for me.

I don't think that is the case all the time. I'm 26 years old and while it's fun to chit chat during a game I can always call the friends I have in the non virtual world. Yea, there are peeps on my friends list that I talk to on the reg, but I can also call them I need be. What does age have to do with it? I'm old enough to pay my own cell phone bill.

i wish it were a little more of a discussion though. what is it about this game that is so polarizing? there are legions of gamers on another system who are clamoring for this game while TWO other groups of console owners will miss out on it as we cannot forget that many millions of people have the wii.
