Guerilla Games has like what, 6 or 7 months to hone the gameplay? I think they'll manage to make an FPS game playable...
i really hope you can skateboard in LBP :) i think i saw a clip where a bunch of sackboys jumped on a HUGE skateboard and rode down a jump.. or something. i hope smaller skateboards work too!

anyway yeah, UFOs most likely do exist, so many mass sightings and credible witnesses (like former US president Jimmy Carter etc) all over the world. hell, there are ufo cases even in Iran! it's just a taboo subject to talk about, people like to laugh at things they are afraid of or don't understand... shame really, since ufos are like umm the biggest story ever? :) but we'll see, maybe they'll land on Times Square some day.
this game amazes me, the potential for über-relaxing gaming sessions is up there in the stratosphere :)

being able to save anywhere at anytime makes the game lose all challenge..
i dunno about you guys but.. i absolutely HATE when there is no separate animation for walking up or down stairs! you know what i mean, playing assassin's creed and marveling at all the amazingly detailed animations, and then you decide to just walk up/down some stairs and WTF, immersion ruined, the character just walks exactly the same as on flat ground. g-o-d-d-a-m-n-i-t. at least gtaiv did that right :)

I'm finnish like the company making the game, and i read from a finnish gaming magazine that they are indeed having a media blackout, because they want to concentrate on finishing the game. So trust me, it's coming. And i'm a ps3 fan lol, i couldn't care less if it was cancelled. So, yeah, take it from me.
no.. emo does not stand for emotional, it stands for "emotional hardcore". AND it was originally a joke, it was never meant to be taken seriously!
"emo" only stands for emotional to you and other ignorant people who suddenly decided that it does, when in fact the term has existed a loooong time in punk music culture (and it has always been a joke term, since day 1 when someone yelled it out at a Rites Of Spring concert)

a freaking game can't be "emo". it's just a subgenre of hardcore punk music that i and many others have been listening to since the 80s (yes it's an old genre and nothing on mtv is emo). just because it's suddenly a trendy word, doesn't mean... ohh f*ck i give up, go on rape the word some more kids.
oh god i hope so.. i would forgive sony for not releasing afrika in europe in a heartbeat, if i can import it and it's in english. because i really really want that game, and i don't know japanese.

at first my gf wasn't interested in videogames at all..
but in the three years with me she has gotten into (for example):
Wario Ware (she went crazy with my DS, to the point that she got really angry if i beat her high scores LOL)
Silent Hill 2 (didn't dare play it herself, but loved watching me play)
GTA: San Andreas (she LOVED it, and even bought it for her pc)
GTAIV (i dont have permission to play the main story if she's not watching)

Right at the beginning where you have to (spoiler?) escape the gekkos... i was freaking floored. I have never been so EXCITED when playing a game, it was just.. perfect. They reacted to my actions so realistically it was downright spooky. Like, i was hiding on the second floor of one of the buildings, looking down at a gekko, shot at it once randomly just to see what happens, and that damn thing came closer and took a peek to see if i'm there, and then threw a grenade next to me with it's wei...
i don't want to create my own character, i want the developers to make THE EFFORT and create an interesting story with interesting characters.
dude, Feel Ski was AWESOME, had some great laughs with it lol. the animations were hilariously bad.
