Star Trek was pretty shocking.
Yes. That is why I got a 360 and PS3.
I liked the PS3 controller with Killzone 2 and 3. Same with GT5 and GT6. That said though, the 360 controller was always a favourite of mine. The layout does it for me, and it's something I've gotten used to over time.
Also, impulse triggers. Motion sensing has its perks, but how often that a feature like that be effectively implemented? It was nicely done in Uncharted, but Killzone - I could've done without it.
It's a small thing right, but if you see the suggestions on the PlayStation Share site, $5 to change name when it can be done on XBL? It was something I considered.
The controller plays a large part. That TV functionality also draws me in quite nicely. External storage capability. Ability to change names on XBL. 1080p 60fps isn't everything imo.
TBH I think I'm actually going to get one. Nothing to do with brand loyalty though.
Poor handling of DLC stuff but it was unforeseen. Hopefully that leak will have been plugged.
Because, breasts.
People are just uncomfortable with paying for a game and not having it after.I think the service needs to prove itself with time, and those prices need adjustment.
Then again MMOs have been doing this for years now...
Wow. Maybe Valve should reconsider what they did. I think he did it with the best intent.
Yes and no. I love interesting multi-cultural and female characters. They add so much to the games I play. Games also make commentary about society in general - so making a caricature and saying that stands for something takes value away from an experience. Deep and complex character development in the right situation is key.
Spartanlemur makes a valid point. It's harder work making custom characters but voices can be made to cater for different character appearances. I approve :)
Agreed. A rounded, deeper male character is better than a badly written female character.
games translating into TV? Hmmm Tricky.
Warhammer 40k on mobile? Mobile's picking up I'd say.
It's clever, but pretty badly principled. A pet dislike of mine.
Fair point. Those exclusives were amazing too. KZ2, KZ3, TLOU and uncharted were all great titles. Great way to sell a console imo.
Yes Timed exclusive games, like Limbo's creator's new game. It's disappointing to see that but there was some kind of benefit for them to push the game onto Xbox One first. Still, it gives people an idea whether the game will be any good.
I don't think timed exclusives work either. At least on a large scale. Most people are willing to wait for a release on their own platform.
Witcher 3 is one of the msot interesting games I've seen this year.
