@below I don't hate it because it's popular more so because of the business practices, lack of openness, lack of configuration etc stuff like that.
Plus coop + you know it will be updated a lot like l4d2 well Steam version anyway. I wonder if PS3 will get updates like PC version?

I think CryEngine is very well optimized now. I ran hardcore on 1280x720 very smooth and my laptop isn't exactly the best out there.
Only 17k peak is really sad for an MMO WoW has 12+ million subscribers.
I once looked forward to this title but once again SE messed up and now it's all about old republic for me. I hope that one delivers.

I loved the PS1! Some of my all time favorite games were on that system.
Been to war while serving in the marines. I guess it doesn't count though I was in avionics :) no infantry type stuff.
@jammydude true indeed but when your games win tons of awards and the "majority" (keyword) of gamers think your games are some of the best ever made well then....
In terms of sales or gameplay because I can already tell you it won't be sales. Not saying HF will be bad but COD is just unrivaled in sales...sadly.

Valve is only comprised of about 280 people. And everything Valve releases is gold imo and worth waiting for. Portal 2 next month cannot come soon enough. I loved the first and I still want my cake! CS is still the most played game on Steam to this day.
Graphics are definitely outdated. Even PC version looks horrible
