Sadly people will buy this nonsense but effective marketing strategy.

It sounds like a great game, but don't go as far as saying it will set benchmarks.
They deserved it, the animations are incredibly detailed and responsive in The Last OF Us.
All this hype and praise, I hope this game lives up to it. Anyway I can't wait. Seems like this game has the potential to be the next Uncharted.
90% of main stream video games are story driven, and gameplay is still the importance. So I don't get where you're going with that?
Even then if it's all about the story, why not ditch the gameplay and make a movie? If they are not willing to put much factor into the gameplay. Well, they are better off making a movie. BTW I am not saying this is the case with The Last Of Us.

You lost me there. That is a very bold statement, let alone if it's true or not.
And I have never said enemies not being alerted by friendly NPCs was an issue. There lots of other things that are cut down from the E3 demo.
It's not nitpicking if they showcased it, hyped the hell out of it, enticed people into the game with it and then remove most of it.
Give us a gameplay demo already. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!
Game looks to good to be true. I bet the final game won't look on par in terms of detail and contextual animation.

I agree somewhat with this guy, but not for the same reason. People are starting to accept false advertisement. For instance the final version of The Last Of Us is a huge downgrade in terms of AI, contextual/combat animation and gameplay in general from the E3 demo. But people don't seem to put much factor into it.

Uncharted 3 all the way
The story is more mature, the gameplay is better, the graphics are WAY better(the lighting is insane)and I don't think Uncharted 2 matches the crazy set pieces in Uncharted 3.
