Like I said. Games should be treated like Fallout 4. Fallout 4 is the prefect example on how to announce a game.
Yeah, but how long is that future? Is it going to be next year future or TLG status future? It's pretty much far fetch to announce a game that is going to make it's debut years down the line. Like Bethesda is the proof that announcing games closer to release dates is more plausible and exciting then telling us the long term plan.

Valve came to late to the refund party. Origins had that implemented before steam did. Early accesss is crap. Go check out DayZ. Greenlight is crap go check out Jim Sterling. I don't know anything about the steam workshop and their weekly sales have been trash lately. I feel like Valve uses the same games all the time. Experienced PC gamer go to G2A or Kinguin to buy their games.

And it's funny you bring up War of Gods because that is Sonys milked franchise.
I think that would apply for any game. Even for a Origins or Uplay game. Valve is just top dog right now. And to be honest I don't even know why. Valve isn't the best of corporation. And Steam isn't that special but is better than all the other platforms.
If MS can bring the Xbox UI to windows, that would make their store more attractive.
