VERY unexpected, and sad news. RIP Mr Iwata.
It was stated they are indeed bringing the game. I just want to know when.
You know, as long as the game is getting an NA release, I don't really care who is publishing it.
It does feel out of place for NoA to turn their back on a game funded by Nintendo itself. If the rumor turns out to be true that is.
A new level of low for NoA if this is true. The Wii U is in need of games, and they decide to turn their backs on one exclusive, wow.
I do hope they keep their word. I've enjoyed the Wii U a lot so far, to cut support so early would be a terrible dissapointment.
The game is extremely fun, it would've been a shame too see it fail commercially, thankfully the game sold well. Definitely one of the best games on the Wii U.
His favorite console is the Wii so this is good news.
The game is obviously coming. Now, if it will get a physical release or it will be digital only, is anyone's guess. NOA tends to make retarded decisions, so we'll see.
While I couldn't care less about the feature, Nintendo should just include it to avoid pointless controversy. Those who don't want to use it can easily turn it off anyways, can't see why it's such a big deal.
Everyone knows this game was just made to promote Animal Crossing amiibo.
Amazing how supposed grown ups are offended by such insignificant thing.
I don't understand the question. To my knowledge, no company announced a game that would be released 5 to 6 years from now, let alone 'hype' it.
Technically, the game is finished, there's just content that has yet to be unlocked.
My guess is they did that to keep the people interested for a period of time.
Has it affected the game in a negative way? As I see it, no it hasn't.
But yeah, you should try a little harder next time you try to be a smartass.
This is the result of Nintendo actually promoting one of their games.
They showed confidence in their product. The game delivered, people liked it, and it sold well.
They should start doing it more frequently.
They need to get with the times and make a console with competitive specs. They need 3rd party support if they want the NX to have success.
Drop the gimmicks, focus on traditional gameplay. Keep the 'innovative' stuff as a side thing.
Stop relying so much on Mario and Zelda. Give fans the games they ask for, don't be stubborn.
Promote the console and the games, convince people you're offering a great product.
While I don't like Reggie's constant trash talk, this article fails to make a point.
Reggie specifically said 5 to 6 years, Zelda is nowhere near that, so what's the point of this article?
Why does Reggie keep taking jabs at the competition? It's not doing Nintendo any favors after the lackluster performance at E3.
All this does is keep garnering bad attention, which is the opposite of what Nintendo needs right now.
No need for an explanation, really.
Happy to hear this, the game is brilliant and extremely fun.
It also shows Nintendo had faith in this game since they heavily promoted it. Well, it paid off, congrats Nintendo!
The Wii U is for those who like Nintendo exclusive games basically. It's the only console I have right now and I'm very happy with it, but understand why the system has been a flop.
