not everyone is rich and money issues can occur occasionally, so if i want to play something but i can pay it full price or not at all, i'll buy them used or i ask someone to lend me a game.
also, there are rare cases in which i like a game but i don't want to give my money to that publisher and/or developer,
a personal example is activision and the spyro reignited trilogy, i just want the option to not give them mon...

i 95% agree with you, aside of the evil within the rest can go to hell, TES are all mediocre, fallout is not that good, doom is cool but i don't care so much, same goes for wolfestein
