@vulcanproject: Youtube, for example, is also free on every possible platform. Except for X360 which requires Gold to use it. I'm sure Skype will also be included in Gold bundle.

Can you give me an example of that 70-100 USD GPU you're taking about? Maybe I can go out tomorrow and buy it so that BF3 in 1080p high detail on my PC becomes a reality... Last time I checked that kind of GPU was about the same price as of a console.
Also, don't you know that sites which sell keys to games are illegal? Their keys come from stolen credit cards.

I was making a social observation, not economic one. I have one example to support my view, quite a relevant one because from console market: X360 had a failure rate of 50% a year at the beginning of its manufacturing and 90% over two years. In most EU countries, anything of such poor quality would fail terribly in terms of sales and the company would go bankrupt. I'm perfectly fine with the present state of BF3 (500 hours into game). As the article nails it, the only problem is people. For example, admin kiddies kicking you out just because you killed them a few times in fair combat, obeying the server rules. But it's ok, there are thousands of servers to choose. Of course, there are glitches and bugs but BF3 is one of the most complex games ever. And one of the best MPs, too.
