It's a great handheld. I still have yet to try out a FPS on the thing. Mario + Rabbids is pretty addictive. I was hoping the game would turn out decent, but was surprised how good it actually is. Personally one of my favorite exclusives. I need to get back to finishing Astral Chain.
This is my personal list. No order.
1) Kena: Bridge of Spirits
2) Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
3) Returnal
4) Horizon Forbidden West
5) Demon's Souls
A "blessing" is right. Including Now into the mix would've put a damper on the presentation.
People wanted to just see next gen games running on the PS5. Not a streaming service.
From the article:
1) Miles Morales Mix-Up
2) Sony brought the wrong From Software game
3) PlayStation Now absent
4) The console itself
>_>
It sure looks that way. Social media has definitely gotten bigger over the years. These outstanding results prove that E3 is no longer the powerhouse it used to be decades ago. I hold E3 close to my heart due to nostalgia, but it honestly hasn't been that great over the past few years. With the strong presence of social media, Sony (and other companies) pretty much have the freedom to stream new announcements online whenever they want to and the word will be spread. Sony won't be goi...
I never understood the appeal of creating a MC account JUST to zero bomb a game you dislike without even playing it. Maybe someone can explain it to me. It's hilariously dumb and such a waste of time.
I really liked the visuals and audio of PS5's bootup screen. It seemed like a mix between PSP, PS3, and PS4. The particles flying through the screen are so pretty. I think it's a major step up compared to PS4.
@Tapani
Oh, I know. I myself included the developer's name in the list because nobody knew what kind of project they would be working on before then. It was a complete mystery. Plus, I'm a big fan of their games so anything they make will likely appear on my radar.
Horizon, Gran Turismo 7, Housemarque, Ratchet and Clank were my personal wants before this show began.
So so satisfying. I thought Kena had the best showcase out of all the other ones. Sackboy was also a pleasant surprise.
I couldn't disagree even more. It's a good looking console. Definitely has that exciting next gen feel to it. I wasn't sure how sure how they were going to combine the black and white on the system but I was completely at awe when looking at the finalized design for the first time. Plus, the DualSense and the system go hand in hand very well.
This wouldn't surprise me but hopefully its true. I love their games.
Great list. I would like to add Burnout Revenge, Dark Cloud 1 & 2 to that pile. The PS2 is still my favorite PlayStation to this day, especially with the big three platformers that debuted in that era. I wish Midnight Club would make a comeback. I remember spending countless hours on GT4 when I was a kid.
@First two replies
Rainslacker was being sarcastic. This part cracked a smile out of me.
"Just wait until November. Then you'll see the true might of MS plan to win this console war, and Spencer's master plan to serve the biggest crow to us despicable fan boys will come to fruition...."
I wanted to give the article the benefit of the doubt but I couldn't read past the few first paragraphs. I just want to play these games and have fun. And be entertained with a good story and the great cast of characters.
I don't care about any of this representation stuff.
I'm one of the newcomers to this game. Can't wait to play.
If Evolution was still around, I would've loved to see a potential Drive Club follow-up from them.
I hope WipeOut comes back with an original title and the next Gran Turismo game isn't too far away.
When I was younger, I often looked down on turn based combat as an outdated play style. But overtime, playing games like Bowser's Inside Story Persona 4 Golden for the first time made appreciate them a lot more.
I don't have a strong preference for one over the other.
I still remember Sony posting daily mini-documentaries discussing their previous systems everyday leading up to the PS4 reveal. That was pretty cool.
Anybody can buy and play whatever they want. You can't build a gate and decide which kind of people you want in.
This is a such an unnecessary, disappointing, and childish response. Despite the spoilers, I still wanted to experience TLOUP2 all for myself, whether the story was good or bad. However, I'm having second thoughts about pre-ordering another game instead.
This makes me sad.
Mixed feelings. I love the Kingdom Hearts soundtracks so giving it a "Dancing All Night" treatment isn't a bad idea.
But hopefully the story they're setting here isn't too significant to leave an impact for future mainline titles.
Fans that aren't into rhythm games won't dig this decision at all. There WILL be workarounds like watching a quick YouTube summary on it, but it's not quite the same as experiencing through the story you...
