I know a lot of Vita fans were unhappy that this became a PS4 game in the end, but I'm glad it was made. The amazing scale this game has just wouldn't be possible on that handheld. Great game. The thought of having no Gravity Rush 3 on PS5 would also upset me.
Looking forward to Ratchet and Kena the most.
I had zero interest in the Series X before and after the event. The lack of gameplay and demonstration of next gen power in the Series X were the major downfalls and why the showcase lacked any excitement or punch. Aside from Avowed, Everwild was the most interesting game for me, but the recent trailer still didn't give me an idea of its gameplay. Halo Infinite's graphics aren't good enough to justify paying hundreds of dollars for a new system. Having Fable back is nice, but a sh...
Aside from the bad voice acting, I thought the game looked pretty neat when I saw it. But absolutely nothing about it is graphically demanding for a next gen system. Another title like Kena: Bridge of Spirits looks way better than this.
The Thursday showcase should've offered reasons, though.
This is one of the few games that caught my interest during the show.
Looked pretty cool besides the dull voice acting. Not something I would get a XSX for, though.
I was right to not get excited for the event. It was a tad worse than I expected. Mostly boring. There are definitely games in there that looked interesting, but not enough to get me pumped. Avowed is one good example that had very little gameplay footage to really make a strong impact on the entire show. Even the short reveal with Fable at the end was underwhelming. This event shows they didn't really take the feedback they've gotten from the previous show into consideration. At all....
Good thing I went in with low expectations.
It reminds me of the "Greatest Line-Up Holiday Line-Up in Xbox History" back in 2015 with Halo 5 and Tomb Raider.
I'm not terribly excited for the event, but I'm hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Cortex in the thumbnail is Activision laughing maniacally as they scheme for more money.
I just started playing the game last night. The gameplay animations are pretty impressive. There was one moment during a Ellie segment where I stopped and had the camera focused on her face while she was holding a conversation with Dina. Seeing the level of variety and detail in her facial expressions was pretty neat. A lot of the time in other games, characters move their mouths like muppets.
That's just silly.
I hope they announce Metroid Prime Trilogy soon. I would like an opportunity to play these games before Prime 4 comes out.
Looks dang good so far. I wish them the best.
If Sackboy can make a surprising return, I hope Ape Escape and Sly come back too down the line.
For now though, I'm happy we're getting a new Ratchet on new hardware soon.
Hope everyone has a good Friday. I don't get mine until Tuesday.
Nice. The first one is so beautiful.
If General Mills and Google could collaborate and bring back Frosted Chex exclusively for Stadia, maybe I'll try it out.
Dark Cloud 3 would've been the best announcement for me if it existed.
The animation quality in that terrible film pales in comparison to something like Pixar.
