Sounds like you're CPU limited. FX 6350 is good value but can't always cut the mustard.

Just about every "Gamer" headset is overprices with sub-standard audio quality. Then there's the loss of fidelity using BT wireless. Better off getting a decent set of audiophile headphones and adding a modmic 4.0 onto it.
The VR is a screen at its heart. It has nothing to do with graphics - that comes down to the game itself.. I mean really?
This source says 13.5 million people are capable of running VR. I think it's probably closer. 1.3 million is nothing.

It's going to be 10x the power in Compute - which isn't so mind blowing since compute was seriously gimped in Maxwell. It was gimped because compute wasn't really exploited up to now, and it wasn't seen as necessary.
