With no Nvidia phys X on the consoles it's an uphill battle.

Exactly. Most people I know switched to PC in around 2012 when last gen consoles brought nothing out and haven't really looked back.
Now the new consoles are out, they are far insuperior in every way to our PC builds from back in 2012.

1080p = 1920 x 1080 pixels
If its not rendering the 1/3 of the vertical pixels..hint.. the 1080 part..then it's not truly 1080p. I know..its hard for you to understand with those defensive goggles on.
