That pretty much sums it up. Weak as hell these consoles are. Forget people playing at 60fps on PC. There's alot of people playing games at 144fps 1440p. For those kind of frame rates you also need a fast CPU. No 1.6ghz console CPU is going to cut it. High CPU clock speeds is what feeds the GPU. Too many noobs underestimate what a good CPU will do. Out of the gates these consoles have been struggling for decent fps.
If only they made these heaps of junk kiddie toys an extra $150 ...
1080p 60fps is old hat for PCs.. any bargain basement GPU can pull that off on a PC now days. Games are shrunk down in ambition because these new consoles can't keep up. Star Citizen is a classic example of unhinged ambition.
lol the CPU is slow as hell. An old AMD clocked under 2ghz.. joke much. And yes.. worst part is it's old IPC (Instuctions per cycle) technology too. So it's like having a low end AMD laptop CPU from 2011. Go on and educate yourself on the matter.
And here you fanboys wonder why every open world game gets gimped with 30fps and below. The CPU is the biggest Achilles heel of this generations consoles.

No patch is going to make up for the pathetic clock speeds and archaic IPC of these lame weak sauce AMD CPU's.
Numbers don't count digital sales on PC.. That's largely why. I'm surprised if was 6% considering how few people on PC use discs

Smart phones etc are ubiquitous.. That's the only reason why. If anything they'll eat into mobile gaming more. But for serious gaming a console and/or PC is the price of admission.
