His points are far from valid. mgs4 a clone of a game that just came out a few years ago? mgs4 has SIMILAR gameplay to its predecessors, which have been out since 1998!! Just because it adds a third person camera for shooting and gives you the option of playing the game in a more action oriented style the game is a clone?
If MGS4 is a clone of gears of war, Super Mario Galaxy is a clone of Donkey Kong 64.

Far cry on the wii is also an fps, made by the same company. How did that sell? I'll answer my own question, it didn't. The point is, people bought Red Steel because of the lack of selection and because it was the first attempt at and FPS on the wii, not because it was a good game. Red Steel 2 will only sell if it is a great game, not otherwise.

Red steel only sold well because it was a launch game. Wii owners had wii sports, but they wanted more games. So most of them got zelda, and some who wanted more games got red steel. I highly doubt it would have done well if it were released a year or so later.
It seems you have completely missed the point. I am not saying that this 'reviewers' opinion is not valid, I'm saying it means little when compared to any ps3 gamers common sense. I know what Kojima is capable of, and I don't need someone to tell me what is right or wrong about it. What does that have to do with me playing the game? You know what? I don't care what some little fanboy prick has to say about MGS4. This is the only game I would buy without seeing a single review, I don't need one person to tell me what I already know about the best game franchise of all time.
