As far as Nintendo is concerned, I used to love them and I still wouldn't say I hate them. My roommate at school had a Wii and I bought him Metroid in exchange for him letting me use one of his books, mostly just so I could play it. Yeaaah the thing is its not just those two games... I'm still enjoying all that I have right now, COD4, MGS4, GTAIV, Assassin's Creed, Grid, Dirt, Uncharted, and Resistance. There are just too many good games that I want coming out this fall/winter.
Prince of Persia, Fallout 3, Resistance 2, LBP, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Far Cry 2, Madden 09, FIFA 09, Bioshock, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge....

The only thing I can say about the Wii is that it sells like crack...
That and I know 4 people who bought a Wii on launch day, played it for a few weeks and then just let it sit. Now all of them own a PS3 ;)
Another guy I know with a Wii is my roommate at school, and since I have a PS3 there in our room, he doesn't have to bother getting one, or else he would probably have one too haha.
This game looks quite solid but its so hard for me to justify buying it with the wealth of games coming out this fall/winter that I know I will want to get.
Not to mention Resistance just dropped to 30 dollars and I have so catching up to do before the second one hits.... :)
I agree that all of those games are great, but aren't all of them considered "core" games or "hardcore" games or whatever you want to call it? I don't see anyones grandma doing much with Ninja Gaiden Sigma... ;)

PS3 seems to cater more to the "normal" (or "core" I suppose) gamer than anyone else. I certainly agree that the PS3 is amazing though.
