It takes longer than pressing the R1/L1 buttons... trust me. I had the Witcher 2 running with a custom config so that it plays like Demon's Souls.
However, it was almost impossible to swap between bumpers and triggers fast enough on the game.
Then I hooked up my ps3 controller and I had the same responsiveness and precision like in DS. It does make a big difference, at least for me.

Ken's Rage was really cool though. This doesn't seem that bad. I like Dynasty Warriors style games. The only thing god is that they end up having more tactical and better Boss fights than any DW game. See the boss fights in Ken's rage were pretty awesome. Really depends the way they do it.
It's gonna be tough though... There seems to be a huge gap between the 3DS and the Vita powerwise.
The 3DS is just as powerful as a PSP with just modern shaders and effects.
