This could be my ignorance speaking (and please correct me if so) but I don't feel that actors, script writers, musicians, etc have the same amount of trouble making money that developers do.
I buy games because I feel the developer EARNED it. I don't buy (many) movies or (much) music because honestly I think they get too much.
But yeah I remember this game. something about a mist is all I can remember really. I also remember getting a corrupt gamesave after like 10 hours of playtime. Not even sure if I finished this or not but knowing how I am I probably beat it...and probably at least twice if there was a new game+. Man do I need a fresh PS3 RPG with some new game+ on it.
Capcom did this with bionic commando. They released bionic commando: rearmed on PSN/XBLA and then went to release a 'remake' of sorts as a full fledged title. Granted it tanked but I mean not too many people really knew about BC.
Whens the last time firmware was actually leaked buy a GS employee? Hardware and games maybe but srsly why would sony even bother HINTING to retailers about this?
If you can (as they don't generally stock up too much) get one from Costco. I'm not 100% sure anymore, but it pretty much comes with a lifetime guarantee or you can return it for the full price(assuming you can keep your receipt). The same goes for games while ur there...granted the selection is usually crappy as they don't want to upset parents or some BS.
I love my PS3 and can't wait for a slim+price drop+ backwards compatibility to get my 2nd one and return my launch unit to costco for full price...but honestly I do not want to hear sh*t about this anymore unless its from sony. It will get here when it gets here and no leaks are going to change that.

My point here was that it isn't instantly accessable from (nearly) ANYWHERE you are. You'd need to find a starbucks or something with some free wi-fi to pick up games on the go and that just kind of puts a damper when trying to find quick cheap fun.
Last I checked the PSP go isn't going to have constant internet access. That's why the app store works so damn well. You can be stuck somewhere you hadn't expected, find an app that looks interesting to you at that specific moment, and enjoy it. Possibly due to the fact that BoFI was one of the first games I really really got into and enjoyed. As a consumer he had numerous options to extend his warranty either through service plans or the use of a credit card.
He could also spend more than a mere 30 minutes trying to get his sh*t fixed. He could also use some 'connections' he may have through the site to do a decent report on this and get some feedback from sony.

I'm pretty sure the only confirmed reason for disabling voice chat was for stability purposes. Once they removed it from public spaces connections started giong through consistently. I'm sure there's a post in the PSHOME Forums but I'm too lazy to look.
They've also said they're working on bringing it back. Doubt it'll be anytime soon though.

What they should have done to fend off the frenzy was change the release number. Then people wouldn't see 2.70 and immediately think cross game voice chat. They would see 2.61 and think "hmm I wonder what we have here"
Personally I think they asked for all the bad feedback by sticking to the 2.70 release number.
