Yes I know that. I also know the iPad can have 3G built in if you want to subscribe to it. It could be in a 'premiere' model. I'd like to imagine a Go-like model with this capability. Sure I'd have to pay a subscription for the service but depending on apps/features it may very well be worth it. Not like it hasn't been done before. Definitely a feasible option.
I've been holding out until costco got them in stock (double warranty and excellent no questions return policy) but they've been taking their sweet time getting them. If Shane says it then I'll definitely be holding down fort until E3 to see what they say.
Then again even if they ANNOUNCE it this year chances are they're still another year or two away.

I was initially really amazed by the concept when it was shown years ago. Now I'm assuming this is going to end up vaporware since it's been ages since we've heard anything and all we get is junk like this.
Also last I heard is it was coming to consoles as well...but yeah that was ages ago too.

Looks like these are ways the game could improve, but I'd hardly say any of these would really 'fix' it. Jukebox would be nice, no pedal is available in Lego RB, and customization will come in time but really I'd like them to keep focusing on the basics/songs.
If you have a PS3 and don't have this game you MUST buy it this week. I'm considering UNO myself ...not to mention Braid is awesome at that price. I held off at first since it was so old and still 15 but now I'll probably get it.

Tell me about it. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from grinding 5+ hours a day in Resistance 2 to get that final multiplayer trophy (play XXXXXX matches).
At least with Uncharted 2 I get to go back and just plain old enjoy the game. (Even though there isn't too much time for that considering all the releases coming around)
That locked game saves will transfer, however they will be removed from the old hard system. Any un-copy-protected data will be accessible on both systems.

It worked(Copying copy-protected data). It does make you reformat and it does directly copy ALL data (except trophies which you need to synch for). It will REMOVE any copy protected game saves from the system you are transferring FROM. YOU CANNOT PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO TRANSFER.
I have to say that I'm fairly pleased now that I can return my original system and get my 700 back (it was a bundle).
Also if you plan to do this make sure to be patient. Even thou...

Bad News: It STILL requires a format of the system you want to transfer TO. Luckily I only played Tekken 6 and Tools of Destruction(which I got platinum on so the game save isn't too worrying to lose) on my new box so that's all the data I'm going to lose.

Netflix is OK but PSN has a lot more recent stuff and the entire catalog is already online so I doubt 'licensing' issues will crop up.
For 9.99 I'd sign up right away. For more than that...I'd have to wait and see.

If they were really 'Copying' MS they wouldn't even have it ready yet. The time to develop it would have taken wayyy longer and besides the feature set is fairly different between 360 and PS3.

Like others have said, features to actually go into facebook and send messages and type out updates are one, already done through the browser and 2, way too time consuming for me to do on my ps3 as opposed to my laptop.
This is exactly what I would want from FB integration. Automatic updates for all the cooool stuff I do. Other than that i can take care of it elsewhere.
I made a few friends when it first started up but ever since they scrapped public voice chat it hasn't been the same. I know there were a bunch of hooligans running around w/mics but muting was easy enough.
I would definitely enjoy some stereos and TVs though. Then again this all hangs in the balance of friends who use. Without friends this is going to be completely useless either way.
