I think it pays for itself imo. I was gonna buy Bf4 individually to play with my friends which is like 40$ right now so that would pay for the year service and that would net me 3 other games and that number is only going to grow. You would be a fool to buy any of these games individually instead of just buying EA Access.
In other words-- it competes with ps+ and ps now, a burden on customer support that makes them little cash, and it paves the way for other publishers to mimic EA access amplifying the effects of the first two reasons while causing consumer confusion due to different policies/services. Fair enough.
If Sony sees that there isn't any value in Ea access why should it mean they get to block it. The only people that can decide that is the consumers. Theres an obvious conflict of interest going on at Sony and not the white knight company guardians of the gamers that some people have been led to believe. Understandably so, Sony invested and built ps+ and Ps now from the ground up they don't want any competition. Though this may have russled EA's feathers a bit and cause them to ali...
Bungie has been a bit misleading imo. For one the E3 Demo sure made it seem like you could go and explore those mountains in the distance and that the game was going to be a "massive universe" when it turns out theres only one area per planet and the distance you see that i thought was going to be explorable isn't interactible and blocked off by invisible walls. Really thought the game was going to be alot bigger conisdering it was Bungie themselves who hyped the planets up to b...
PvP wasn't impressive and Earth is just Russia which was wasted potential to have only one area and that area had to be Russia. Could have been Egypt, Old london, Amazon rainforest etc. much more interesting settings with better potential like finding rare loot in the Egyptian pyramids guarded by super strong enemies. At the E3 demo they really made it seem like you could explore those mountain in the distance aswell which was a disappointment when you founf out it was blocked by an invis...
PvP wise they feel alike with Destiny going a couple steps backwards as far as balance, map design, weapons, and gameplay stategy. I could write a WALL of text going into detail vut it would be too much for me but those were the basic things that stood out to me.
The PvP sucked alot and felt like a step down even from Halo 4's multiplayer which wasn't all that great either. I just really wished that there was going to be more than one area per planet because the missions with a fireteam is the games saving grace but that looks like it's going to be short lived with the lack of content. Mind you in the beta i was a lvl 8 Hunter with 161 defense 96% Dicipline 30% strength 62 attack scout rifle, 62 attack blue razor thingy copperhead shotty ...
I just hate the fact that they made what was supposed to be Earth just Russia. The point of exploring Earth would have been to see the diversity of the planet such as jungles, desert, snow etc. Except all you get is a very limited view of Russia (which in the E3 demo they sure made it seem like you could go off and explore those mountains in the distance, but you can't) So much wasted potential like Old Chicago or possibly Egypt where you could go into the dark pyramids and search for loo...
Your comparing a game that's open world to games that aren't . Apples and oranges my friend. Nevermind the fact that Bungie flat out lied when they said the planets were about the size of Reach.
I woulda a called her a bitch on the spot.
If me beating me beating all the missions twice on both difficulties in a matter of 2-3 hours is any indication of the other planets with the moon already about 1/3 smaller than Earth beating the single-player with a buddy will take no more than 3-4 days at the most.
I still played the beta despite cancelling my pre-order and struck a bit of a nerve while exploring Earth then remembered Bungie was hyping the planets up to be bigger than Reach. That was a blatant lie. The game is pretty decent though but i mowed through the single player missions all on hard rather quickly.
Lol i get that reference.
Click on the article, read it, and decide for yourself. Or is that too hard nowadays?
Having both consoles im can say yes the ps4 does lag behind the Xbox in terms of features but the xbox isn't that much far ahead either. You still can't have backgrounds its just pitch black, notifications are a hassle, you have to go to the main menu to check friends online etc Its just not as convienient as the 360 to do simple things. But i do fully expect them to have a massive update holiday season that's gonna have a whole new look and feel to it so thats probably why i don&...
Still wouldn't feel enough to me if i created a very central part of a game that is going to be the next billion dollar franchise. Hopefully 343 hires him he could be the lead composer for the Halo Tv show.
Activision should have released a modern warfare collection on the one/ps4 over the summer to get people hyped to Advanced Warfare. I miss the cod 4 days bunch of great memories.
What else were people expecting? As if Microsoft is gonna air an ad in front of millions and say "yea we have the most basic games on the most average console for the worst players, buy an xbox one today!!" N4g is so stupid sometimes.
That makes no sense whatsoever. The game launched 5 months ago for christs sake. Evrerything that has been needed to be said about the game has been said in the months leading to launch and post launch. We are way past the launch for there to be any buzz left, seriosuly your putting The game on some "special" pedestal that it will never achieve. So i guess because there are no Titanfall articles on n4g 5 months after launch thats a bigger evidence of "hype" dieing down tha...
Im playing right now. They are probably getting ready to add more features which is why they are doing maintenence right now. Ps4 hasn't been down because they hardly add features.
