is why does it need to be compared to all the other great shooters? It might have taken a bit from some but its nothing like any of them in how it plays...
played a good 5 hours and i love this game.. Yes it has issues like easy headshots and bullet spread seems a bit strange but over time, like in MAG, they will improve this game.
The cover system is a bit of a cop out but they made the 1st real light gun game along with a sneaky fun console game. From my time in the beta i say 8 with work it can be a 9 all day... online only

yea COD has a cover system and is a 3rd person shooter without campers
all SHOOTERS have camping... Since when was socom fast paced? Go play Socom 2 and tell me its fast paced
If you want to see what a good game in teamwork is, play MAG with some of those higher ranked people.
I bet you play Socom with those higher ranked ppl you will see some good team work

its Zipper.. They are Socom. They cant tarnish the name and from what i played if they fix a few little details it would be the first real Socom game this gen

yea over a life you can say that about many many things... If you really get into Socom this will be the one in 10 years that you will miss and say "I MISS THE OLD SOCOM DAYS"
even a seal running sideways will slow that run if they are shooting.. more like a fast walk or slow jog but they would not run like sports star covering ground and be able 2 shoot a weapon with a purpose..

its slow compared to what i have been playing since Socom in 2005
as a hardcore Socom fan i can say it has won me over... I understand its not THE OLD SOCOM but it is Socom and like all Socoms its a thinking mans shooter. I love the slower gameplay
