Am I the only one that has a feeling shooters are going to go back to ww2 now that future has been done to death?
What I want to know is: are we gonna get it for 3ds? As I do not own a wii, I would be happy to see it come to 3ds.
They will support it as long as people are buying games for it and is profitable.
What games really utilized the rear touch pad to its full extent? you're gonna say tearawAy right? It is an unnecessary add on that costs them money which drives up the price. I have never cared for the back touch pad especially as virtual buttons for remote play.
I keep thinking to myself: they could rerelease the vita and call it psp 2. Make it come with L2/R2 buttons with no touchpad. Release it with a cheaper screen and a lower price such as under 200$ with more 1st party exclusives such as God of war. If they had marketed it better and released it at a lower price it would have done better.
Hopefully the Sony owned ps2 classics will come to ps plus. Not worried about it because I still have all my old physical copies of ps2 and ps1 games.
Exactly @imtheman2013 why do people feel entitled to be able to use old formats? I bought GTA 3, vice city and San Andreas for ps2 and play them on my ps2. I will never expect to be able to play it on any other system.
Dammit people if you want to replay your old games that you have already bought then play them on the system that they came out on. I still have my gta 3, vice city and San Andreas and I occasionally play them on my ps2. If I wanted hd and trophy support then I would pay what they are asking for. Stop complaining about it if you don't like it don't buy it.

My prediction is this is going to be a full remake of MGS 1 in order to get the new team comfortable with metal gear.
The new 3ds is a stop gap till their NX platform arises with a new handheld that interacts with their new console.
Of course they would not give up on such a large amount of 3ds owners, they will release games for as long as people are buying and interested in the system.
I got a new 3ds and I wasn't expecting a lot of exclusive new 3ds games. Why would they alienate the majority of their install base of the old 3ds just to appease a smaller amount of new 3ds owners? I bought it because I had not owned a previous 3ds and the eye tracking for 3d was way better which is the main problem I had with the old version.
I'm not sure if I should pick this up. I played the beta and it was fun although very shallow and repetitive. I have a feeling I will get bored of it quicker than I was with hardline. Should I get it for 40$?

I'm happy to see long term support for battlefield. Makes me very hopeful for an epic BF5, just don't mess it up this time EA.

Yes they need to relaunch it with better marketing, lower price and branding like "psp 2". There is a reason why 3ds sold so well after its price drop.
