FF15 open world was so lifeless and boring. It was nothing but gas stations, and hotels. The cities were small and felt so small with hardly any exploration (with the exception of the last area to some extent)
No, it doesn't! RPGs need to improve their sidequest. Most of them are bland and generic. The only recent ones to do a great job with sidequest is Witcher, and Divinity 2
The orginal FFVII was just as linear if not more than the remake. There's no way it'll be open world or have an overworld

How is it not a proper RE game? The only thing that's changed is the perspective. The days of tank controls are gone thanks to the advancement of technology and good riddance
