Would you say it’s worthy playing? I just start getting into VNs and I love SRPGs
What a bad take. These 2D HD games are gorgeous. Live A Live is a huge improvement over the original while keeping its charm. Triangle Strategy is probably their best looking one yet. As for niche these games Octopath sold a million copies… not really niche for a JRPG
What an asinine thing to say. How about people growing the F up and not threatening anyone over a damn game. Nobody is subject to harassment and threats over video games. If you can’t handle that you’re in the wrong hobby.

Each story is pretty linear in design, but provide a unique mechanic in each story. You can see where Octopath gets it’s inspiration. My only complaint I wish the stories were a bit longer so we can have more time with the characters.
Playing both now and enjoying them for very different reasons. If I had to pick though I’d go with XC3 though
P3 hasn’t really aged well so I can see a remake

I agree with him. I’ve been buying older JRPGs that I don’t have for my Vita, etc and it’s cost me a pretty penny, but it’s worth it in the long run. This is coming from someone who usually buys his game digitally, but I’m starting to see why digital only isn’t the way to go. I like older movies and unfortunately a lot of films aren’t going to be available, and it breaks my heart.

As for the action oriented direction they’ve been heading that direction since the initial announcement of FFXIII. Kitase Even said they were aiming to capture the intense action Advent Children had. So why is this new to everyone? I’m not saying turn base...

They’ve been heading in that direction since FFXIII, multiple members said various times their goal is to make a game as fast paced as the action seen in Advent Children. They even hinted at that future with the announcement of FFXIII
I’d take Basch, Batheir and Ashe over the whole cast of FFX anyday
FFXII had a better narrative and cast of characters than FFX
I was wrong about this I was under the impression that just was just a remaster, but look at those new character models
They’re saying they aren’t adding anything that will tie it to Remake, but who knows… maybe their just pulling our chains
Side missions were the best part of the game. The main story kind of sucked ass, but there were good character moments.
