you guys are forgetting though that programming for specific hardware that doesnt change is a lot more efficent then programming for a pc that has a vast ammount of all different kinds of setups. It doesnt need a dual gpu, maybe a single radeon hd 4k or 5k and it doesn't need a six core processor, I am thinking 4 core at around 3.5-4ghz. Then again if the nextbox is based off of windows 8 or 9 then the OS itself could be a huge resource hog lol
that would make second chance useless. You would die before even going into second chance cuz of the (basically) hit scan weapons COD have. It would happen all so fast you wouldnt even notice it. Realistic? No. Gaming breaking? No. If you want to be good at a game you have to acknowledge these types of things (good and bad) that with every single kill there's a chance for second chance to happen. I've never had a problem with second chance in blops or felt that I was cheated by it
cuz the elder scrolls series is better
and not just with going gold, before that the certification process takes months and bethesda can't touch the game data while the certification is taking place or it has to go through the process again. I am glad though someone understands that game data can't be touched a peroid of time before the game is released lol thus the day one patch.

people still don't understand how long it takes games to get certified....it takes months + once a game is certified the disc content cannot be changed or it has to get re-certified. During this time the devs make the dlc and patches thus day one patches are born since the devs had months worth of time to work on patching the game and making dlc while it was being certified

you do realize that it takes MONTHS for games to get certified by sony and microsoft right? During this time nothing can be added to the disc and is sold that way when its certified. Also during this time the devs prepare the day 1 or early dlc and patches. Unlocked codes might seem pretty small but if you think about it, if the disc already contains the graphics, sounds, and unfinished code for the content all they would need to do is provide the rest of the code which would'nt be a big ...
Wise up and get another hobby then. Things change and there is nothing anyone can really do about it. As far as online passes, drm, etc will only get "worse" for you down the road. PC games have required keys for ages and online activation is needed now for some of the newer games to unlock the WHOLE game. Its not just the devs or the pubs or the gamestops its YOU as well that want to have your cake and eat it too.
I hate used game sales, its basically a money generator for companies like gamestop, gamestation, etc. Lets say gamestop sells 1 used copy 4 different times for 30 bucks, they just got 80-100 bucks (considering the very very poor trade in value gamestop had to pay) for absolutely no work what so ever. Numbers don't mean anything, ive played games that reviewers gave 5s (white knight chronicles in particular) and had a blast with that game with my buddies. Find reviewers that you can relate to and use them as a source.

to make money + emulation would be perfected not that it was bad to begin with (there were only like 2-3 titles that i had trouble with)
i am no coding expert but I would imagine it being much easier to develop an emulator with specific titles in mind rather then trying to emulate across the large variety of titles

I honestly have no clue why people are having problem with the menus on pc. I love the menu on pc it feels perfect. try combining keyboard and mouse movements at the same time. It did take a little while to get used to I admit, but I honestly feel like its one of the best made menus on pc. Its simple, kinda weird to learn but more then worth it in the end
